Wife and I watched to recent shows on netflix. Without watching any trailers or anything they both had lead Trans Male in one and Gay male who went into the Marines in the other.

Every new show seems to have the token LBGTQ character or plot in it that is only trying to check boxes.

As small as the percentage of actual LGB community is, it is overly represented in all media forms.

So tell me there isn't an agenda? If not an agenda, then why are we seeing so much representation? Strictly to be "inclusive"?

Nearly all of the last decade's rise in claims of transgenderism among kids has been girls with a claim of identifying as boys. Boys identifying as girls has not risen nearly so fast, even though they get the most attention due to so many of them being mediocre athletes, who suddenly become champions when they are allowed to compete against females exclusively.

Anyone who has ever raised a teenaged girl, taught teenaged girls, or otherwise been an adult interacting with teenage girls knows why they are more susceptable to this social contagion as the OP rightly calls it. They are very in tune with their emotions, which they take very seriously, they like attention, they tend to get ideas in their heads that are not easily shaken, and they live in a society dominated by males.

Let them go through their little phases. Yesterday it was My Little Pony, today it's "I'm a boy," next week it will be "I want to marry Bad Bunny!" If adults will not try to draw them into the profit-making machine of the transgender industry, they will be fine.

You know, when I watch TV, I really don't keep tabs of how many "gay" characters there are. It seems you are for some reason.

Admittedly, I'm not watching as much TV as I used to. I think the only TV series I am still following are whatever Trek Sludge Paramount Plus is putting out and the Law and Order Franchise.

(I think L&O only had one gay character, 20 years ago, and they kind of dropped that out of the blue the last episode when Fred Dalton Thompson fired her.)

Less than .1 percent of the country identifies as trans. About 30 percent are racists. So the biggest problem is not kids thinking they are trans. It is thinking they are entitled to things because they are white.

The difference is that Democrats in our government publicly support allowing children to change their sex based on how they feel. There are even laws in some states that allow children to take hormones without parental consent. That is the very definition of systematic.
