Obama already showed he couldn't win a debate with a Toledo plumber and I don't believe he's learned anything over these last 8 years. I'd bet on LaPierre. Would bet the same way if it were the NRA guy versus Hillary.

Now if the debate was between LaPierre and Bill Clinton, my money would be on Clinton since I recall him taking on a full house of Republicans laughing at him during a state of the union address and Bill putting them in their place.

He was pretty impressive here.

Indeed. This whole debate was settled by the Supreme Court in 2010. The left doesn't like the SCOTUS unless they agree with them. Tough.

The left has no more respect for SCOTUS decisions they dislike than they do for elements of the Constitution or Bill of Rights they dislike. Their goal is to re-shape both and the country to their liking. Our goal is to destroy them for trying.

And that is my biggest fear - more so than the political parties and the races. It worries the living hell out of me that the SCOTUS will replace one or two retiring fat-asses with a couple of limp wrists and, once again, will legislate from the bench. That should be every law-abiding persons' biggest fear. Today, it really isn't the House or the Senate that shapes the political base in this country, far from it. Today it is the courts that step out of their bounds and take the place of the system in this country.
