The worse part of this isn't the kids - but the parents/schools/society that STRONGLY ENCOURAGED kids to do it. Made them fucking heroes. Made them "special".
And what kid with problems doesn't want to belong to a "hero group" who gets to demand everyone to do what they want - and anyone who doesn't gets publicly chastised and ruined careers.

The parents/schools/society is what was so fucked up - the kids are just victims of leftist ideology and virtue signaling.

THIS is the point we need to get across.
