Which of course will soon be here, and we will spiral further and further into the Wuhan abyss.

Covid variant found in South Africa is worrying experts: Here’s what we know so far

  • Viruses mutate all the time and it’s no surprise that the coronavirus that emerged in China at the end of 2019 has undergone several significant mutations during the pandemic.
  • But a new strain of the virus that has emerged in South Africa is causing concern.

South Africa Covid strain: A guide to what you need to know (cnbc.com)

It will always be one thing or another as long as it is useful.

People will either learn to ignore it or travel even further down the rabbit hole.

This appears to the same mutation that is ravaging Britain just now. Newspapers there have been reporting for a week or more that it was to arrived with a traveler from South Africa and spread rapidly. Same papers also report that the vaccines being used there seem effective against it.

Don't panic until your Democrat Party Block Gauleiter authorizes it.

Most of our legal immigrants now come from Africa.

This is the merry-go-round we will be riding for a long time, just as some feared. There is no easy answer, but there is a hell of a lot of politics around this.

A coronavirus variant first detected in South Africa 'could be more infectious' than other mutations and have the potential to 'evade vaccines', scientists have said.

The C.1.2 strain, which is linked to 'increased transmissibility', is more mutations away from the original virus seen in Wuhan, experts at South Africa's National Institute for Communicable Diseases and the KwaZulu-Natal Research Innovation and Sequencing Platform said.

The virus was first identified by scientists in South Africa in May and has since been found in England, China, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mauritius, New Zealand, Portugal and Switzerland.

..........................................

Scientists examined 400 people who had tested positive for coronavirus at least 14 days after receiving one or two doses of the jab - and 400 who tested positive with no vaccine.

The variant was eight times more prevalent in those who had two jabs than none. It was seen in 5.4 per cent of people with two doses - but 0.7 per cent of people without any.

You have chosen a poor source for this variant report. It does not mention the pertinent mutations, N440K and Y449H. One mutation links to another coronavirus: HCoV-NL63, which without mutating is already H449. The other links chinook salmon bafinivirus (Y449) and Atlantic salmon bafinivirus (Y449).

Now if only someone would work with you on your jokes.
What Jokes?

This is just the beginning. Anti-Maskers and Anti-Vaxxers are going to keep COVID alive for years to come...with their idiotic refusal to follow community health standards. MAGA NUTS....

NEW COVID VARIANT: ‘CONSTELLATION OF MUTATIONS’

Tulio de Oliveira, a professor at South Africa’s Network for Genomic Surveillance, said the new variant announced Thursday has a “very unusual constellation of mutations,” including more than 30 mutations in its spike proteins, which is responsible for the virus’s transmissibility.

Yep, this is scary - but not surprising.

This is picking up steam. Pro Euro golfers were trying to get out of South Africa before the country locks down this weekend. It's worse than the Delta variant.

To all the pro-vax mandaters on here, I will be singing a few rounds of "I told you so" really soon, I suspect.

Rise of a new coronavirus variant in Africa looks like the disaster scenario experts warned of if rich nations hoarded vaccines for themselves

  • A new coronavirus variant was found in southern Africa. Experts worry it could be the worst so far.
  • Scientists had warned that a dangerous variant could emerge if there wasn't global vaccine access.
  • They said all countries needed vaccines before rich ones got boosters. Rich nations didn't listen.
As coronavirus vaccines were produced, approved, and rolled out, health experts said the doses needed to make it around the world, not just to the richest countries.

This was needed, they said, to reduce the rates of death and serious illness in poorer nations, and to protect their populations.

They also mentioned another reason: The more the virus spreads, the more likely it is to mutate and result in a strain that could become more dangerous to everyone, including the vaccinated.
