I think of all the governors in America, DeSantis probably handled the best during the last four years. it's gonna be hard to find any scandals, though the Ukraine flip flop is certainly a start!

DeSantis is the most popular Republican politician in the country, that is, according to the last election.

Meanwhile, Trump stated that if he lost to Biden, he will have lost to the worst Presidential candidate in US history.

So I reckon Trump wants to lose again. Sure, he says the election was rigged, but I ask you, what has changed? Has he fixed the system?

No.

So Trump, if he wins the nomination, will surely lose again.

That's because Ron hasn't officially thrown his hat into the ring yet. When and if he does, they are going to dig through his life and time as governor with a fine tooth comb.
I think he has a lot to hide about the actual effect that COVID had in his state....but it will come out eventually.

They will do to Ron what they did to Trump.

Even worse I think this time.

That is a given.

Trump and DeSantis have both sold out conservatism for some strange form of socialism and government control of free markets. And now both have abandoned Ukraine.

It has been a week since Tucker Carlson released exculpatory evidence proving that January 6th defendants are being unfairly treated by the DOJ. Ron DeSantis has issued NO new statements about 1/6, despite his initial being that he wants everyone involved to be fully prosecuted.

DeSantis is currently on a Swamp funded tour through early primary states running a shadow presidential campaign & enriching himself. All Ron has to do is resign to run then this would be legal. But he won’t because he knows he’ll lose to Trump & MAGA so he’s trying to change the laws.

Ok..again, quality, not quantity. And put down the bottle. :auiqs.jpg:

Neither of these men are anything of the sort. They are both playing to and for a base of voters who believe their race's power is slowly but surely being diluted. Outrage, grievance....emotions that can be played to and inflamed with a simple slogan, catchphrase, or soundbite.

I tried to warn Team DeSantis that Ron was breaking Florida Law by campaigning for President without resigning as Governor. The punishment for breaking this law is a small fine, as well as being INELIGIBLE to run for President this time around. Good luck in 2028!

Ron DeSantis is in likely violation of both federal and state election law by running a full-fledged shadow presidential campaign, signaling a “substantial certainty” under well-established FEC rules, that he’s running for president. DeSantis has a legal obligation to RESIGN.

Part of his calculus has to be how much he'd have to be drug through the middle school-level orange filth. Early on, it looks like he plans on staying above it and just jabbing.

Staying above the middle school-level orange filth isn't exactly difficult, of course. He'd just look like the adult in the room.

They are already digging for anything to use against him. Will probably wait for the right moment to accuse him of being Hitler and of pushing grandma off a cliff.

If DeSantis does run, he would be wise not to play Trump's game of name calling.. etc. He will not be able to out Trump Trump. On the other hand, he may be able to show himself as the "presidential" alternative to Trump.
