Nothing ever really changes in the human condition. The compulsion of some people to rat out others because they believe they are on the right side of an issue still exists even in the United States where individual rights are supposedly paramount. The explosion of new technology has now made it possible for everyone to become a “rat” reporter or videographer for the state. People are fired from their jobs and businesses are boycotted when some state rat posts a cell phone video on social media which is the new public toilet wall of the information age; a wall closely watched by local and state bureaucrats.
Few in the US know who Pavel Morozov was. He was a Russian martyr who betrayed his father to the Soviet state leading to the father’s execution. As the story goes Morozov was then killed by his own family for the betrayal which made him a symbol for the right-headedness of the state and the importance of spying on one’s own family and friends for the good of the state.
Preceding that there was Hitler’s Youth Corps where the same monitoring of subversive behavior was encouraged and rewarded. The Jews are safe today, but a new victim has become the target of state wrath- “bad white people”. The “good state white people” gathered into a giddy swarm and rushed like giggling children at the gates of an amusement park when a complete work of fiction, Barack Obama, was concocted, presented, and offered as the perfect state leader. Obama’s replacement choice was rejected.
For decades American education has been indoctrinating white youth to self-hatred in order to ethnically cleanse and disposes white America of its power and heritage. Now the George Floyd incident has provided a new villain for the rats to chew on- “bad white cops”. When Floyd pleaded for his life, the rats that filmed the murder did nothing to stop it. These are the same rats that love to dump water on police and spit on them. They just stood by and let it happen; they had bigger fish to fry. Becoming social media sensations for the state is as important these days as it was for the Nazis and the Soviets.
George Floyd is the contemporary Reichstag. What worked then works now. Cell phones are watching our every move. Nothing changes; the recipe for the state over the people remains the same.
