Recently, I had the chance to talk with a good friend that worked with the Treasury Dept. and has since retired, and pointed out something to me, that I thought worth mentioning. The two gentlemen that are applying at the moment to be the President of the United States could not quailfy to get a job for the same department that assigns the agents to protect them, i.e. the Secret Service.
John McCain would be disqualified as a result of his age and a background check would show his involvement in activities with a known felon.
Barack Obama would be disqualified as a result of his admitted drug usage in his book and his association with a known felon.
I thought it ironic, that both these men could not quailfy to get a position for the very departments they are applying to run.
