Hundreds of people including some political leaders and police officers were among the mourners who attended David Dorn’s public visitation at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church on Taylor Avenue today.
Patriot Guard Riders turned out to offer respect to the retired police captain who was gunned down last week during the leftist riots and looting in St. Louis.
The wake did not make national headlines.
A private funeral service for David Dorn is scheduled for Wednesday at Saint Louis Friendly Temple on Martin Luther King Drive at 10 a.m.
Tomorrow is the funeral ceremony.

Surely this Black man does not deserve accolades for his service to the people and upholding the law. George Floyd a felon loaded with illicit drugs dying in the midst of a felony in the custody of police is being sanctified by those who routinely oppose the law and politically make promises to citizens yet never produce the results they claim they are for.
You have to wonder what has become of America when a 7 time felon apprehended and resisting arrest in the course of criminal activity dies while in another case a man attempting to stop a crime also dies. Wherein lies the question. Why is it that Floyd becomes a cause celebre while Dorn is considered an Uncle Tom and ignored. Both are Black men.
How can this be logical and right? How does the Progressive Marxist Socialist/DSA Democrat Left justify this?
Facts don't seem to support the mantra of the Left, especially when more LEO's are killed by perpetrators than, police killing black people during the course of up holding the law.
Only the lemmings of the PMS/DSA Democrat Left believe their 24/7/365 lies. The media is exhibit #1. Traitors/Hate Filled Anti-American Race Baiters and Liars. They hate everything great about America. They have gone from members of the Fourth Estate to members of the Fifth Column.
In recent weeks Tucker Carlson has been telling us like it really is. He said yesterday that Republicans are the only ones standing between us and mob rule, but right now they aren’t doing their jobs. There are a couple trying to help the President, like Tom Cotton, but basically it is only President Trump between us and the mob. Regardless of what polls indicate, we have to keep him there.
