Not finding evidence is now a reason to get fired?

You can call it whatever you want. You and your ilk just aren't
use to seeing your side getting their butts kicked.
By the way, there is proof against James....just sayin'
Why is it that you can NEVER address any facts that you do not AGREE with.

Are you that totally biased and close minded, that facts mean nothing to you?

On top of that and forgetting Trump himself, will you honestly say that you blindly believe what ONE person (anyone) says without checking out yourself?

This OP is all about evidence-of-guilt no longer being important in deciding the guilt or innocence of a person. DO YOU AGREE WITH THAT?

And without the evidence, you really can’t say if there’s proof of her crime, right?

All you have is a single document for a POA that says it’s her primary residency.

What if ever other document says it’s not her primary residence?
Great, so you're gonna go with a "what if"?

You can create whatever story you want and argue that.
I don't agree with YOUR personal input, it's just bias bullshit.

Great, so you're gonna go with a "what if"?

I believe others have looked through the documents and come to that conclusion.

We haven’t seen anything to the contrary from this administration.

Let me go in a different direction given that you WILL NOT answer the question asked of you, even though it is a general question that anyone that is not a fake and biased person would answer.

Here is the information about the investigation that was made regarding the "document" that you say shows her guilt!

A 2023 power of attorney document for a Virginia home purchase mistakenly listed New York Attorney General Letitia James's address as her principal residence. The document has been the subject of mortgage fraud allegations, though James's legal representation states it was a mistake.

The document and allegations
  • The document: On August 17, 2023, James signed a specific power of attorney that was witnessed and notarized. It authorized her niece, Shamice Thompson-Hairston, to purchase a Virginia property on her behalf and declared James's intent to occupy the house as her principal residence.
  • The allegations: In April 2025, Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) Director William Pulte sent a criminal referral to the Justice Department, accusing James of mortgage fraud. The referral, which stemmed from media reports, suggested James intended to deceive lenders to obtain better terms on the loan.

Response from Letitia James's office
  • The mistake: According to James's lawyer, Abbe Lowell, the power of attorney document was the only one in the mortgage file that incorrectly stated the Virginia home would be James's primary residence.
  • Other evidence: Lowell points to other evidence showing James intended the property to be a second home, purchased with her niece. In an email to her mortgage broker sent around the same time, James stated, "this property WILL NOT be my primary residence".
  • Legal position: As the Attorney General, James is legally required to reside in New York. Her office has stated that she lives in New York and her niece is the primary resident of the Virginia home.
  • Investigation: Justice Department investigators reportedly found that the limited power of attorney form was never considered by the loan officers who approved the mortgage. In addition, other documents in James's loan file accurately state that she would not be residing at the Virginia home.

Having shown the above, I am sure you will dismiss this and still find her to be "Guilty", right? I mean, Trump said so and he cannot ever be wrong, correct?

Ms. Lowell is Ms James' lawyer, hardly proof of anything.

All crimes are "mistakes" James thought she would get away with it, as she was expecting the leftists to stay in office in Washington.

That is your OPINION, isn't it?

Has she been PROVEN guilty? Does she have the right to be "innocent until proven guilty"?

Absolutely, Ms. James- like all defendants- are entitled to full due process and given a chance to be judged by 12 angry men.

She will have the full right to hire a team of top lawyers to defend her and present her case, through the initial trials, as well as the appellant court cases.

Eric Seibert, the acting U.S. Attorney for the state of Virginia and a "Republican", was fired because he failed to find evidence that incriminates AG for New York, Letitia James.

It seems that now, the requirement to be at Trump's side is to fulfill his wishes and find evidence (though there may be none and are innocent) of those that he considers enemies.

Are we now losing our Justice system, to be replaced with a king that decides all of our fates, depending on whether we support him or not?

Is proof of guilt not important now?

He was fired b/c the evidence was there, we all know the evidence, hell, I even saw Comey admit to his crime in an interview. . . no, he was fired for not creating a case with the available evidence.

show me the evidence?

By the way, check out post #26 where the evidence you suggest is there, is shown to have been disputed totally.

Now bring up what the evidence the DOJ has on James. It's there, but, I don't jump through your hoops.

Comey Admits He Was Wrong

Thinking people knew he should have been indicted five years ago pal.

James is innocent until proven guilty, unlike what she did to Trump.

Let James have her day in court
One big difference, so much of the proof against Trump is his own words and actions. James never has stated anything that would prove her guilty of anything.

For example, when Trump is called a liar, it does not have to be proven in court. He proves it daily in front of everyone that is listening.

Comey admitted he was "responsible," thus, open and shut case on his confession.

Ignorance of the law is not a defense, and her being the AG is just not a defense.
