Norwegian Cruise Line beats DeSantis like a drum!

Got that private Florida businesses? You don't have to listen to the big government socialist and chief Florida death cultist. You do what you feel is right for your company, your employees and your customers.

A federal judge has ruled in favor of Norwegian Cruise Line's challenge to a law signed by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis banning cruise companies from requiring proof of COVID vaccines to board ships in the state.
On Friday, Norwegian Cruise Line asked Judge Kathleen Williams to block the ban of requiring written proof of a COVID vaccine in Florida, arguing that it jeopardized the health and safety of crew members and was in breach of the First Amendment's right to free speech.
"It's scary what is happening in Florida. Florida is a hotspot," Norwegian attorney Derek Shaffer told the judge during a remote hearing on Friday, referencing the record-breaking COVID case numbers. "All we're doing is trying to protect our staff and passengers."

Always amusing to see lefties sucking billionaire corporation cock. Well done, Bluey!

False. My daughter is in the Bahamas RIGHT NOW, unvaxxed.
Maybe she vaxed and didn't tell her anti-vaxer Daddy? :) Here's the latest. Sounds very inconvenient:

Bahamas

Open to U.S. visitors. As of Aug. 6, all travelers over the age of 2, regardless of vaccination status, must upload a negative PCR test result taken within five days of arrival in the Bahamas. (This new protocol is waived for anyone who has already applied for an obtained a Bahamas Travel Health Visa.) Unvaccinated travelers ages 12 and older must also take a rapid antigen test on day four if staying longer than five days and fill out a health questionnaire every day of their stay. Testing centers are located in many hotels, resorts, medical centers, marinas and municipal locations.

Good question - I tried the Mr Googley and couldn't find anything but this story.
At the very least, I doubt it’s legal to turn them away from ports just because they hurt Desantis’s feelings.

An obama judge

what about merely testing everyone for the wuflu?

the cruise ship can and should do that
Do both. Require vaccines. Test everyone.

The best protection is the right protection.

They were vaccinated and got sick and passed the disease presumably to more vulnerable people who probably died and this is good news to the left? DeSantis said it best, fix the freaking borders before you use the disease as a political tool.
Nobody died loon - NOBODY

The ports do, in fact, fall under federal jurisdiction, as do the pilots who are taken out to the ships to guide them in. Pilots are licensed by, I believe, the Coast Guard.

Where I think federal jurisdiction might end, though, is at the tug boat dock. I know that Canaveral doesn't have "federal" tug boats. Of the over 20 tug companies oprating at Cape Canaveral, every one is a private company which is administered and licensed by the state. If there are no tugs to take pilots to ships entering port, then there are no ships entering ports...

I think your 100% right as a below deck sailor on a man-o-war. I'd rather be a scab on the belly of a whore than a below deck sailor on a man-o-war.

So the message now is take the cool aid and understand you might still get sick (likely to get sick?) and transmit the disease to more vulnerable people with lower resistance but at least you most likely won't die. The puzzling thing is why the federal government is authorizing illegal entry into the U.S. instead of tightening the borders. Maybe the plan is to increase the incidence of the disease to use it as a political tool. It's a win, win, win for democrats when they can kill off old folks who tend to vote republican, get those pesky people off the federal dole and blame republicans.

As shown by recent events having a shot is basically limited protection at best. Funny seeing you defend corporate America. Specifically a company that DESPITE covid risks is packing people onto self contained germ jars. I net you bitched about Sturgis tho huh?
