Nobody Gets A Trophy

You wonder where sassyirishlass is when people like this post.

Shaking my head at your nonsense. You can post all day and night but you're just transparent

Only in a way do I agree. If all of the kids are getting their privileges taken away from them, that will only then include the kids who are not even the problem and, in my opinion, that is not fair.

God bless you and them always!!!

I can only assume there were more than a couple acting up. If they were behaving poorly as a group, they should be punished as a group I suspect there weren't enough nonparticipants to field a team anyway. My opinion was based on the available information. Further information could change my mind.

Not because I say so. But because it happens.
Okay .. sure are alot of trends across America .. but if you say so.

Detroit Public Schools: 81.9% Black, 76% graduation rate, 18% graduates proficient in reading.
Memphis Public Schools: 72.2% Black, 81.5% graduation rate, 17% graduates proficient in reading.
St. Louis Public Schools: 77.4% Black, 86.9% graduation rate, 44% graduates proficient in reading.
Birmingham Public Schools: 95% Black, 90% graduation rate, 78% graduates proficient in reading.
Atlanta Public Schools: 72.25 Black, 86.6% graduation rate, 22% graduates proficient in reading.

National Average Graduation Rate: 87%

Is that what you saw last time you were in one?
Well, to be fair, the last time I was in a public school, was about 15 years ago…I know not every school is like this, but we do read, and see more and more how they are deteriorating. Kids today are NOT being taught respect for authority, and teachers, as well as students are left feeling unsafe at school.

We have to take politics OUT our primary education. How many classrooms today have teachers displaying left, or socialist memes on their walls?

If we have progressive left teachers teaching that THEY are the truth, and undermining the family, we shouldn’t be surprised when minor children become a behavioral nightmare.

Not what we see in the news.

I'm telling you what I see every day with my own two eyes. You realize the news wants you to hyperventilate, right? That keeps your eyes on the screen and subject to advertising.

You do realize that your experience is anecdotal, right?

Since when is athletics a privilege?
Athletics is not a privilege and has not been disallowed. They can still participate in exercise and training. They are only denied the privilege of competing with other teams in any sport.

What’s that supposed to mean?

It means you are basing your "certainty" about what goes on in schools every day on nothing but sensationalist media stories.

You realize that just because you read a story about some lady finding an airplane part in her back yard that it is not raining airplane parts in everyone's back yard, right?
