So, how are you enjoying the warmth, America?

These people can't even get a prediction a month in advance correct. But we are to believe they can predict the climate 30 years from now. :auiqs.jpg:

Oh, and in England, where they went bigly for windmills, they shut the windmills down today, too much wind. But the sucker rate payers still have to pay the windmill farms for NOT producing energy.

It is all a scam.

The late great Willard Scott once told me they can (mostly) make decent predictions 36 hours out but after that it just marketing......That's why you got the pretty much useless 10-day forecasts.

He said after 36 hours you are just as well off going by the Farmer's Almanac.

Not defending Team GB Happy People and their absurd Renewables policy , but with winds reaching 100 mph for a few hours earlier , not even an Extremist Lefty Mutant would have left them working .

Even I cancelled my daily 3k run in case I turned into an unguided drone or missile .

Depends on where you are at. Here in the mountains you get 12 hours as a reasonable prediction. After that, forget about it.

It's about the same here, particularly with winter storms. The rain/snow/sleet/ice lines look like a damn rainbow half the time in just the DC news viewing area what with the local forecasters try to hedge their bets.

Those windmills, modern design, can only spin so fast. Any faster and they fly apart as the materials can't take those stresses.
There's a whole farm south of Chicago and St Louis that covers hundreds of acres. Few birds survive that area.

England Shuts Down Wind Turbines, Too Much Wind

Don't forget that while these turbines are shut down for producing too much power, more than the grid can handle, not only is all that electricity lost, but the owners of the turbines must be paid for their downtime! So instead of producing extra power in a time of available surplus, they are actually COSTING the country money!

No wind, too much wind, wind constantly changing direction. Short life span. Oil leaks. Leading edge damage of blades littering trillions of micro plastics in the sea. Incredible maintenance costs. Electricicity usage of turbine when "off"

You would have to be so stupid to support green energy that you would also vote for a man dying of dementia

It’s a good problem for electric vehicles to solve as the excess energy comes at night when electric cars charge.
