No worries for Mark Kelly. Eventually, he will regain his full pension (and his money back)

As you may have heard Donald Trump got triggered because Mark Kelly told soldiers that if they are given illegal orders, they should disobey them. As retaliation, he lowered Mark Kelly’s salary. Hegseth did, but same shit. He’s Trump’s puppet.

Because of the first amendment, Mark Kelly will prevail in court after asking a judge to stop these retaliatory reduced payments. This will be another loss in court for Donald Trump, who is an expert on that.

He would probably get six months approximately of reduced pay before a court orders a stop to the illegal retaliation.

Trump will be extra triggered.

This is a military decision made under the U(niform) C(ode of) M(ilitary) J(ustice).

Different rules apply and Kelly just stumbled-over the UCMJ trip-wire.

I'm not even sure that civilian courts have much "say" in the matter.

My own first guess?

1. his reduction-in-rank and pay-reduction stand

2. he gets reinstated and he gets backpay once the Democrats are running the DoD again

Even the DoD (DoW) has "administrative orders" that can be reversed.

Unless, of course, they call him back to Active Duty status long enough to court-martial him.

That, in turn, might lead to a Dishonorable Discharge and a long vacation in Leavenworth.

Reversing a court-martial might prove just a wee bit more of a challenge. ;)

Only with a paranoid authoritarian at the top is reminding their military of their duty an actionable offense.

Nothing will happen to Mark Kelly. But Trump and Hegseth are both looking at impeachment.

This has been going on since November. This triggered the department of war. Kelly so far has not had a thing done to him.

Kelly is thin skinned, and his problem is with the Navy, not Trump.
There's nothing thin-skinned about him.
Oh, yeah. Like Trump isn't calling the shots because Kelly doesn't like Trump.
Kelly did nothing wrong

Sure, Kelly is thin skinned. Her is whining so far.

I don't think so.
He did nothing wrong. The problem is that Trump is thin-skinned.
Kelly told the truth. You are required to refuse illegals orders.

Stop pretending Hegseth would make her own decisions, as opposed to what Trump tells him to do.
