No Way Alabama Deserves to be in the College Football Playoffs

Something could be improved vs. A bunch of Alchoholic suits paid to promote special interests in secret.

I would rather candycorn Candyporn idea of coaches vote once at end of year, top 16 go in. No byes.

I realize nothing is perfect, coaches may not like other coaches, may only vote for their conference etc.

Shove the pre-season rankings and Couchpotato the Couch always saying...."but they beat ranked teams". Uh.....do away with your 1956 rankings BS. Git er' dun.

At least coaches have an up close look.

Like who. ND? They didn’t play anyone outside the 2 teams they lost to. Alabama had wins over #3UGA and #14 Vandy.

Why is OU a “bad loss”. They were ranked 8.

ND lost to Miami was that a “bad loss”?

Yeah leaving out Alabama and putting in ND is standing up for little guy. LOL.

Vandy NTEX MO NTWSTRN ILL UNM? I don't know right now. Im not working that hard.....new blood. Excitement. We've seen your ALA GA forever. When they ignored class, grades, payload for 50 years. UNC or others in NCAAB.

Alabama beat the brakes off Vandy. LOL.

NTwxas could have made it. They lost to Tulane.

I’ll. 8-4. NW. 7-5. 🤣

MO 8-4 lost their bowl game. 0 wins against ranked opponents

UNM. 9-3. 0 wins against ranked teams. They didn’t even win their conference. And lost their bowl game to Minnesota.

This is your argument?

No. Not my argument exactly. Just another example.

Rankings at the end of the season not when they played them. You don’t even know what I’m arguing. Then say teams like NW or Ill should get in over Alabama.

And you’re just substituting one set of rankings for another.

If all these NCAAF games come down to Clock and officials it is another mini-NFL.

Yes that last Ole' Miss hail Mary could have (should have?) been called DEF pass interference but rules are different last 10sec? Except in NFL road games? Home games? I'm confused?

Sigh, very tough to officiate. I know. But pulling a guy down by the shoulder pad for 8 yards could be called holding at least. Its tough. Yes indeed. One more play 10 yds closer?
It should have been called. PI would have put the ball at the 20 not at the 1 like in the Pros. And Miami allowing Ole Miss to go the length of the field in 18 seconds deserved to lose.

Miami dominated that game they deserved to win. They were the better team that night. That said. It probably should have been called. Both players were pulling on each other but it would have been called in the first 30 seconds of the game so it should be the same in the last 30 secs.

I only watched the 4th Quarter, but boy did Miami try to shoot themselves in the foot with all the dumb penalties.

I've heard people say "it was a hail mary play"... no, that wasn't a hail mary. That was a deep pass. A hail mary is when you bomb it way up and a heap of people jump to get it. That was a pass that hit the guy on his route. And it was clear PI. Granted, this isn't the NFL where they would have gotten ball at the 1, it would have been at like the 20 yard line, and the likelihood of a TD from the 20 yard line is minimal. But, it was PI for sure.

This is why I dont think Miami will be able beat IU. They make way too many unforced errors. IU doesnt make mistakes that's their super power. It's why they are blowing good teams out. Miami is probably more talented. Especially on the O and D Lines but they just make so many mistakes.

It was probably DPI. Both players were grabbing and pulling but the D player was probably more egregious and the tie goes to the Offensive player anyway. It wasn't the decider in the game. TOP 41 to 18 in Miami's favor. Miami was 60% on 3rd down, Ole Miss was 20%. Miami pushed Ole Miss around all game they allowed Ole Miss to hang around because of the penalties and mistakes.
