I am not one to follow fads.
But you're following a poll and that's a fad.
Look.. I can't say whether this incident damages Trump terminally but it certainly doesn't help him... even a moron should understand that. I can only go by what I personally know and I know of at least three people who were on the fence about voting for Trump who now say they cannot vote for him. Now maybe they wouldn't have voted for him anyway, but they are definitely lost votes now. Deluding yourself into thinking this has no effect is foolish. Everything has an effect at this point... that's the genesis of the October Surprise!
And I'll tell you something else... look for MORE to come out soon! I estimate, around the end of the month... some bombshell story is going to come out and it will make this look like child's play in comparison. It may be untrue or exaggerated, but it won't matter because there won't be enough time to decipher the facts before election day. It will be the
perception that counts. I don't have any inside information, just a gut feeling based on the tactics of the Clinton Machine.
Another thing is this.... Polls don't really matter. Presidents are elected by an Electoral College. It's ironic that many Democrats have decried the Electoral College in recent years while Republicans have defended it and in this election, that might be the Democrats saving grace. Every Electoral College map I've looked at shows that Trump has a very difficult road to victory. He is currently trailing in states he vitally needs to win in order to have the electoral votes to defeat Hillary. Because the race is so tight, there is also a possibility Johnson could win New Mexico and prevent either Trump or Clinton from getting the 'magic number' of electoral votes, throwing the entire election to Congress.
