No other president

They were procrastinating.

John Fetterman, (D), says Trump did absolutely the right thing. He also said Iran slaughtered 30,000 of their own citizens. Which is exactly what numerous international sources have said.

Fetterman is a crazy person.

Most Americans oppose this attack, and this is probably the best it's going to get.

As we get bogged down and the casualties pile up, it will get worse.

I think this action was dumb but we haven't and likely wont be committing any troops to this action. So how would we get bogged down? How would casualties mount? Especially now that Iran has attacked all it's neighbors in retaliation Iran is an island with no friends. Any chance they had a knocking down air frames was in beginning, their air defenses aren't going to be more effective now that we have been running strikes. They aren't going to have more ability to launch attacks outside their country as time goes forward so the threat to the troops from Iran in the area is only decreasing.

Stryder50

Articulate the threat Iran posed to the US.

I keep asking this question and none of the hawks in this thread seem to be able to answer it.

No other president has done this before.
The courage of conviction & leadership.

You mean completely shitting on all international laws and our Constitution by unilaterally killing leadership of a 90+ million people country and starting a war without any congressional approval?

Yea, it's a first and it will be just one more reason why he'll go down in history as one of the worst presidents we've ever had.

When did we get Congressional Approval to overthrow the government of Libya? Or Syria? or run the largest drone bombing campaign in history in Somalia with a close second in Yemen? Can you link the Congressional approval to target and kill a US citizen and his children in Yemen? Without trial mind you. Stop acting like this is unique in some way it isnt. We've been doing this at least since 9/11 and you could argue decades before that.

Libyan dictator was disposed by his own people when we took out his military capacity.

Our involvement in Syria's war was even more limited to that of intelligence, training and material support.

In both instances the actual overthrowing was done by internal opposition, they were not killed by United States.

ILMAO at leftists who are crying UNFAIR.

They say silly things like, "shit Trump destroyed the nuclear agreement and didn't write a new one, and that's just not fair"

Fuking Trump, not being fair with Terrorists, and a "fascist" dictatorship the left dream of for the USA. Leftists are weird man, it's complicated, and not meant to be understood.

Dummy it's not about "fair" it's about where this lawless, reckless use of our military leads.
Sure, it's whatever a lib. democracked wants it to be.

? We bombed the shit out of Libya. So, because the mob got to him first and sodomized him to death that's somehow, ok? The **** kind of logic is that?

We bombed Syria for years. Ran huge SF operations there eventually leading to the overthrow of their Government. We had far more boots on the ground in Syria than we will likely ever have in Iran.

Assad's not dead he's in Russia I think. Is it just the killing of the leader that you have issue with? Bombing the shit out of countries is fine, killing innocent civilians including intentionally targeting a US citizen and killing him in Yemen is fine, but if one of those bombs hits the leader of that country, that's where you draw the line?

LOL>

Again he doesn't need permission from congress,
There is no international law anymore.

They have been at war with us for 47 years, you boob.

We finally decided to say, "ok, let's dance".
Who started it? (Hint: it wasn't Iran).

By "at war" what exactly do you mean? Saying mean things inside the borders of their country? It certainly doesn't mean attacking the US on US soil.

Ummmm, yeah...it was. They are the ones who committed the act of war by taking over our embassy, then they committed a war crime by holding them hostage for over 400 days.

Twenty five years earlier an act of war was perpetrated on them when their democratically elected government was overthrown and replaced with a tyrant dictator by the US.
