That's great for the well to do selfish Republicans. What about most of the families in my state who have to make do on less than $40,000 a year? I just told you that my wife and I are on Medicare and have to pay an additional $6,000 a year for supplemental insurance. You people have no shame.
Like I said......the Republican mantra:
1) Don't Get Sick
2) If You Do Get Sick....Die Quickly
How about the people that are currently living right at the financial edge of their means that will be seriously impacted when they have to supply insurance for those that feel like they should have everything handed to them?
I guess I should sell my house and buy something cheaper? maybe give up a car? or, how about I just stop the family vacations or maybe eating. What is it that I have that I pay for that I dont deserve.
What you just said is right wing bullshit. Poor folks pay no taxes and barely make it from payday to payday.....'course you rich people don't have a clue about that.
and you leaches seem to think that because someone has a nice house and a nice car, they can afford to hand over a few thousand so you dont have to apply yourself.
Guess what? most of those people you think are just rolling in the cash are house poor.
paying for you could be the one thing that breaks them
Typical Republican bullshit! I've heard it for the last forty years. The bottom line is that those at the top want to be sure they keep their stuff so they do whatever is necessary to prevent change. The only change they like is tax cuts for the wealthy. I challenge you to make an honest evaluation of the Bush years.
George W. Bush assumed an economy with an unemployment rate of 4.3%. The budget was balanced with surpluses projected all the way to a completely paid off national debt. The first thing he did was to reduce tax rates for the wealthy in 2001 and again in 2003. Then he proceeded to double the national debt from $5.7 trillion to nearly $12 trillion. He effectively borrowed $6 trillion from foreign banks and funneled it into the pockets of the rich in the form of tax cuts. What a goddamned idiot!
I think you need a a better source to get your figures from:
$5 trillion added to national debt under Bush
If I were you I'd be looking for something to talk about besides the national debt:
