No Justice For Ashli??

I know you like to blame the victim, but should the police kill people for breaking glass and trespassing? Should the police kill peaceful protesters because OTHER protesters were shoving officers?
No, but they should kill people when they become an immediate threat to someone else's life; as that mob did when Ashli Babbitt attempted to breach that police barricade with lawmakers on the other side.
Cowards like Faun want to murder unarmed women because of imaginary threats to corrupt politicians.
Imaginary? Hang mike pence....

^^^ That's exactly what those insurgents were doing.

My view on this shooting comes down to one simple question: Suppose he had not fired that shot. What would have happened next?
No one will ever know, however, what we do know what would happen is what actually did happen... that violent mob smashing in the doors and windows to get at members of Congress backed down, stopped beating on the doors and windows, and cowered off instead of breaking in.

That cop is a hero who saved lives.
You are lying to justify murder.

The protest continued after Ashli’s death. Many protesters continued acting peacefully and left peacefully.
Not true. The mob that was attempting to break those doors down backed away and stopped trying to break into the House chamber. Exactly the reason for why the cop had no choice but to draw his firearm. Because of that cop, none of the insurgents got inside the House chamber until all of the members of Congress were safely evacuated.
You post any random belief that drifts through your empty head. Back in reality the protesters went into the House Chamber.

Fucking moron, compare what I said with what your deformed brain translated it to...

Faun: Because of that cop, none of the insurgents got inside the House chamber until all of the members of Congress were safely evacuated.
Thunderbird: Back in reality the protesters went into the House Chamber.

Got that, moron? That cops job wasn't to keep insurgents out of the House chamber, it was to protect the members of Congress in the House chamber safe from the insurgents.

He did his job and saved lives doing it.

After the lawmakers were safely escorted out of the House chamber, the police backed down from keeping insurgents out.

But it's ok, you're a conservative. No one expects your brain to function normally.
Keep condoning murder.
LOLOL

You poor thing, murder is just a legal term for the unlawful killing of another. This was investigated and deemed a justifiable shoot. In other words, not murder.

Like conservatives like to say, and this applies to you -- fuck your feelings.

Stop the hyperbole it has gone too far and people see right through it.

I got a better idea... fuck off.

If you ever had an idea it died of loneliness a long time ago.

:boohoo:

Posthumous trials are normally a dumb thing, but an exception could be made here. There should be a posthumous trial for her. After her propped-up corpse is convicted of treason, it can be publicly hung, and then reburied. Only then will full justice have been served.

They will probably have to keep her burial spot secret. If they don't, they'll have to install a special drainage system to funnel away all of the piss draining off of that grave.

The intent was to stop the election certification and install the former president as president. Was it not?
No it was not. It was to start an investigation into the obvious fraud. The state legislature of PA. wrote a letter to Pence asking him not to certify their electors, Pence ignored it 7 states chose alternative electors to show they doubted the integrity of the election. Congress knew this and did nothing.

That is a conspiracy to defraud and nothing else.
Of course, everything that you just posted is bullshit. Every state had previously certified their election results and the 1/6 was a mere formality. The former VP had not lawful way to alter or stop the function.

Your false claims of election fraud still remain without proof.

Nope, not what I said. I am not responsible for what your deformed brain translates my words into.

I never said the threat was imaginary and I said the cop had no way of knowing she was unarmed.
Didn’t you admit you were happy to see her killed?

Are you still trying to convince us that this unarmed woman was a tremendous danger? Obviously remarks made by other members of the crowd don’t prove that Ashli had any violent intent.

You’ve shown you have no problem lying. You are eager to justify state murder because you derive a cheap thrill from this sort of bloodshed. Which makes you a very sick bastard.

I don't believe they ever entered the House Chamber. There are photos of guards at the barricaded doors and all of the Reps and staffers were evacuated, but I haven't seen any accounts or photos of protesters making it inside the chamber.

They did overrun the Senate Chamber, though, and that one dude famously sat in Nancy Pelosi's office chair.

Imagine if the members of Congress had not been evacuated, and protesters streamed into both chambers mid-session. Do you honestly think that this angry, juiced-up crowd, some of whom believed (by their own admission) that Trump had sent them to save the country, and some of whom were armed with tasers, zip ties, bear spray, or a litany of improvised weapons, when confronted face-to-face with Nancy Pelosi, Mike Pence, and Chuck Grassley, would have had the intense Ninja discipline to stop in their tracks and begin a conversation about state legislatures and electoral vote counts? Frankly, even if they did, it would still have resulted in a disruption of our democratic process.

All of that means that this was a premeditated, violent act intending to disrupt our democratic process. In my mind, any reasonable person should conclude that that fits the definition of an insurrection.

If you want a simpler test, imagine if it had happened at Trump's inauguration four years ago, with an armed mob of Obama supporters disrupting the counting of Trump's win. What do you think your message board post history would have looked like that day?

They found no tasers on the protestors that I have heard of. Let's see a link or you are lying. You are exaggerating and the drama is sickening. Congress was never in danger. This is all to distract from the fraud and Biden's country killing policies.

I know you salivate at the thought of murdering an unarmed woman but try looking at the facts:

“The shooting of Ashli Babbitt on January 6, 2021 by an unidentified U.S. Capitol Police Officer was an unjustified use of deadly force which violated her constitutional rights,” said attorney Terrell N. Roberts, III, of Roberts & Woods in Riverdale, Md.

“It is clear from video footage that Ashli did not pose a danger to the officer, or any other person, when she was shot. Ashli was unarmed. She did not assault anyone. She did not threaten to harm anyone. There was no excuse for taking her life,” he added.

Roberts said that it’s “a universal law enforcement standard” that police officers are not supposed to use more force than is required to subdue a suspect or “accomplish a lawful purpose,” noting that Babbitt was small in stature at 5′ 2″ tall and 110 pounds and speculating that she could have been arrested “by a single officer with a set of handcuffs.”

“At the time of the shooting, there were over a half-dozen police officers in close proximity to the Speaker’s door where Ashli was standing. Some of those officers had just allowed protesters access to the door by stepping aside,” the attorney added.

“Other officers, dressed in full tactical gear, stood among the protesters just a few feet behind the door. Still, others stood casually at the opposite end of the Speaker’s Lobby, unconcerned with the activities of Ashli and the protesters around her. All of these officers were in a position to have aided in the apprehension of Ashli if it was necessary. Given her background as a 14-year veteran of the Air Force, it is likely that Ashli would have complied with simple verbal commands, thereby making the use of any force unnecessary,” he added.
