Let's compare that to other things shall we?

US Army Budget $143.4 billion, plus $102.2 billion for overseas operations These requests were part of the overall defense request of $549 billion in its base budget and $159 for overseas operations, primarily in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The annual cost of maintaining our Naval Fleet is about $650 Billion a year

Homeland security budget 2011 $56.3 billion

They should also restrict what can be purchased with them like they do with the WIC program. The recipients should have to maintain a stretch or road or park in there area as well. There is no excuse for an able bodied man or woman to not be working. It is crazy to give assistance to a person who wont work.

I that's probably coming down the pike. And as I said before, MOST fs recipients are children; of the adults, most of them work.

I that's probably coming down the pike. And as I said before, MOST fs recipients are children; of the adults, most of them work.

Lots and lots of fs recipients, particularly the ones that don't work, are elderly or disabled.

Then it's highly unlikely they are able bodied union workers who voluntarily give up their income by going on strike.

my wife was a letter carrier ,
another PO trip they bought a new building down town for 8 million but if would have waited 24 hours they could of got it for 4 . before you doubt it ask your dad .
