Before abortions were legal, thousands of children grew up in "orphanages" or "homes for foundlings", often run by churches and other charities. The stories of abuse and neglect for these children was endless. They were "bastards", at a time when it was recorded on your birth certificate whether you were "legitimate" or not.

Children did not grow up to become happy, healthy, members of society coming out of these "homes". Damaged by years of physical and emotional deprivation, they had high rates of crime, drug abuse, divorce. Who pays for all of that except the taxpayers.

As for "sexual diseases", what happens to the poor wife at home whose husband's infidelities lead to her having a "sexual disease"? And what will happen is, as always, rich women will get treatment because the doctors will cover for their husbands. If Donald Trump get syphyllis, Melania will be prescribed meds for some vague ailment she might have picked up from him that he caught on his last trip abroad. Just a precaution.

Poor women will be left to die. What happens to their children when both parents are left to die?

You keep coming up with brutal scenarios to punish people for their lack of "morals". Whose "morals" are to hold sway? In terms of sexual mores, there have been no more corrupt or immoral people than the Christian right. I saw one of their websites which basically said if a married or betrothed woman has sex with another man, it's adultery. If a married man has sex with another woman, it is only adultery if the woman is married. If he has sex outside of his marriage with an "unattached" woman, it's not adultery.

This is not about me being perfect. It is about you telling us others who promote that and destroy them while the imperfections of man destroy us by radicals making it legalized.
