No, Charlie Kirk Was Not Practicing Politics the Right Way

TURNING POINT USA is a conservative organization, not a PAC. Advocating for God and Country is not a lie.

Turning Point USA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2012 by Charlie Kirk. The organization’s mission is to identify, educate, train, and organize students to promote the principles of fiscal responsibility, free markets, and limited government.

Turning point is a right wing political organization. Anything else is a lie.

‘Tragedy is a powerful shaper of narratives. In the aftermath of the horrific assassination of MAGA champion Charlie Kirk, a husband and father of two, it was natural that his allies, including President Trump, lionized him as a patriot, free-speech advocate, and activist. And political opponents somberly denounced the terrible killing, as they should, with some hailing Kirk’s devotion to public debate. There’s a tendency in such a moment to look for the best in people or, at least, to not dwell on the negatives. That can be a good thing. Yet as Kirk is quickly canonized by Trump and his movement—on Thursday Trump announced he would bestow upon Kirk a posthumous Presidential Medal of Freedom—a full depiction of his impact on American politics is largely being sidestepped.

Here’s the problem: Kirk built that movement with falsehoods. And his advocacy was laced with racist and bigoted statements. Recognizing this does not diminish the awfulness of this act of violence. Nor does it lessen our outrage or diminish our sympathy for his family, friends, and colleagues. Yet if this is an appropriate moment to assess Kirk and issue bold statements about his participation in America’s political life, there ought to be room for a true discussion.

Kirk, a right-wing provocateur who founded and led Turning Point USA, an organization of young conservatives, was a promoter of Trump’s destructive and baseless conspiracy theory that the 2020 election was stolen from him. Two days before the January 6 riot, Kirk boasted in a tweet that Students for Trump and Turning Point Action were “Sending 80+ buses full of patriots to DC to fight for this president.”’

Kirk’s lawless killing shouldn’t be used to conceal or whitewash the fact that he was a promoter of racism, bigotry, and hate; a conservative ideologue who was responsible for spreading all manner of rightwing disinformation, conspiracy theories, and lies contributing to current political division and acrimony.
You'll never be able to justify Charlie's murder. Try as you might.

Really now, document the claim that airlines hire on race. Should be easy. A policy statement, perhaps a list of company principals, a mission statement even. What you claim is an obvious truth is not obvious at all.

**** off lefard.

Wow, so he tells that young lady, here is the problem you are going to have to negotiate. When you are in that school that you worked hard to get into, well people are going to look at you and say to themselves, that girl got into this school because of her race, not because of your hard work. He said that was racism.

That is the natural result of widespread race based admissions. What is your point? Other than to whine like a little girl.

Then I suppose Kirk drives to the airport and there he sees a black pilot and he asks himself, "Ghee, I hope that guy is qualified". He assumes the pilot got the job because of his race, not his hard work and training. By Kirk's own definition, he was a racist.

Wow. you are ******* stupid. If you have airlines openly stating that they plan to hire based on race, then seeing that targetted demographic, it is reasonable to wonder if they were hired based on race.

You are ignoring...everything.

What political position had Kirk ever run for ??
You don't have to run for office to be a politician. Anyone who is professionally involved in politics is a politician.

Charlie Kirk - "I travel the country to debate openly about what I think is right, and for them to clarify what they think is right"

DEMOCRATS - "OMG!!! THAT IS FASCIST!!! HITLER!!! "

Tough topic but hate is hate even when hidden with religion or some other justification for excluding all people because of their sexuality or origin. Terms like 'left' are labels with no meaning outside of the choir who use them and they are not meant in a normal manner. They too are hate examples. OP repeated.

Practice speech and politics the way we think is fair or we will kill you . And, we decide what is fair
