Who really gives a **** if she sings Mary Poppins? That's irrelevant and not the point. Distraction = Oh gee, look over here, she sings.... :rolleyes:

The point is that some ***** who is known to disseminate disinformation has become the disinformation czar.

Actually, The Biden Administration didn't give it that name. The Biden Admin calls it "Disinformation Governance Board".

Both Florida Governor Ron DeStantis and Democratic Rep from Hawaii Tulsi Gabbard, referred to the new board as "Ministry of Truth", an ironic reference from Orwell's "1984".

In the novel, the dictatorial government had several ministries, or agencies, such as ...

Ministry of Truth ... responsible for re-writing History and Propaganda. Mintruth workers re-print old articles of newspapers and magazines to erase people who are currently out of favor with the government (un-persons) and delete information that contradicts the government's current announcements.

They also used automated "writing machines" to produce pornography to keep the people distracted.

Another function of MinTruth is to systematically remove offensive words from the vocabulary through an annually published dictionary of "Newspeak". The goal of Newspeak is to remove any offensive or subversive words from the language. At one point in the novel, an employee of MinTruth brags that the most recent edition of the Newspeak Dictionary is nearly half the size of the previous edition because so many words have been removed.

That's what the whole ministry of truth will be, propaganda.

They tried to say we needed election reform soon as their numbers tanked despite previously saying the elections were bullet proof. And that didn't get much traction.

Now they are shifting to trying to control information since musk took over Twitter and said he will make free speech available to everyone and not just them. So they lost a good chunk of the public forum for speech they will try and use the government to control it.

The current administration will try to use government power to control what they can't bend to their will. Their answer is always more mandates, more rules, more censorship, more control "for the good of the people".
 
This woman once praised Michael Steele.....tried to say the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian misinformation....the reality is, she is a promoter of misinformation and propaganda....this entire agency is nothing more then leftist using tax dollars to spread propaganda, after Musk bought out tweeter
