NFL Draft positional analysis

^^^^^^^^^

the first real ACT OF STUPIDITY of Draft Week....
That would be if any team traded a draft pick for Rattler. Maybe a 7th rounder
Rattler is not a starting QB.
1-13 record as a Starter.

I wonder which teams you believe that Rattler should be the Starting QB
In other words, IYO, Rattler is better than which current starting QB(s)?

I think the answer is NONE.
YOUR turn.

Belongs in another thread, this one...

Spencer Rattler is a Glorified Ricky Ray

We'll see if he does get traded. There are more teams that "need a QB" than there are "solutions" right now.

Pitt, AZ, NYJ are the three worst, but there are plenty of others "in denial" about their current QB situation.

But we do have an entire topic about Rattler. That's where this should be, not here, this topic is about NFL Draft.

Interesting.

There are reports that NFL teams have 12 - 16 players with First Round grades. First Round is 32 picks. I would be on the lower side of that, maybe 10.

And there are speculations that trades will abound.... we'll see many.

That does not add up. Teams are not going to trade up for a player in the First Round that does not have a First Round Grade.

5 of the top 10 picks "wanted to trade down" but one was Cincy, now part of NYG for Dex Lawrence.

Everyone wants to trade down. I suspect that's the source of the "noise" about a lot of trades, and "who must trade up" discussions...

There are 60+ Players who rate a Second Round pick grade so it evens out

Rounds 3-5 look really good at certain positions.

Deep WR class, perhaps ever.

DL/Edge has depth too

It’s a deep draft for ( Safeties ) ( Edge) ( Corner ) ( and big fast Running Backs who can play Fullback or running Back )

Don't agree on

safety - Downs is great but was flagged for a knee at the Combine. Thieneman is also very good. I'm not much sold on the rest. Like the Jacob Thomas kid from James Madison on Saturday, but he will need some games before he gets it all down.

CB is a disaster relative to history. Delane is good but small. Reports are McCoy needs another procedure on his knee. Terrell of Clemson, who is tiny, couldn't run at Combine or Pro Day. Beyond that are JAGs (Just another guy in NFL).

The RB class gaps down after Love. Then there are "good runners" not great ones. The class is deep, but not so for "big backs." There will be good quality NFL backup runners who go undrafted.

EDGE is pretty deep but some of the "top prospects" are legit targets for skepticism.

There are good prospect Running backs who weigh over 225 and some are over 6 foot too with a couple who run 4.5 40

Randall of Clemson is tall and upright.

CJ Donaldson is really slow

Chip Trayanum is a 6 year who has impressive traits, but showed them only at the end with Toledo, has transferred a bunch, was with Ohio State.

Washington of Arkansas should be first off the board of the "bigger backs" listed by GBN at 223.

McGowan of UK flagged for "off field troubles"
