There is no accurate amount of the Native American population between the 15th and 19th century, as the estimate varies between 4 million and 142 million. How many were killed by whites and Mexicans is a figure that varies depending upon which data you want to look at. Many indigenous tribes fought and killed those of other tribes as well. The Comanche killed and drove the Apache out of the area in a territorial grab of what would eventually become Texas. Other tribes drove out tribes to gain territory and spoils (women, horses, et cetera).
Conquering territories is as old as the human species and not limited to one race. Zulus conquered through warfare, neighboring tribes and incorporated them into their tribe and took their territory.
Mongols waged war and conquered regions from other Mongols and Asian peoples.
The left likes to try to drive a wedge between people via pointing out our past, which is no different than what occurred in other lands. It was what it was. As to what the American government has done unlike other nations, it has given the tribes a great deal of autonomy. They have their own police forces and own courts and a separate bureau dedicated to them.
The history of mankind isn't perfect, it was downright barbaric and not just one race is to blame. The Chinese Marxist government murdered millions to ensure that their nation would be permanently ruled by a one-party authoritarian government. The Marxist Russians did the same thing. They murdered millions to ensure one-party Marxist rule.
