A truly dumb idea since criminals and mentally deranged people doesn't respect laws in the first place, they will continue to shoot people, while law abiding people who own guns are the ones who would suffer. These laws have ZERO deterrence to mass killings as killers are not guided by laws of conduct, they are guided by criminal conduct or by mental problems.

Try the prevention idea of of stopping mass murders BEFORE they can happen, which are mainly done by people who are mentally ill or drugged up people. Most mass killers left a trail of warnings before hand that were ignored or not taken seriously.

Gun grabbers always ignore this part.

New York City keeps electing him. Last time Cuomo lost 39 of 42 counties outside NYC yet won the election solely because of the city. It's tough when one city can essentially override the will of the rest of the state.
