New photos show UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson’s killer in Starbucks before shooting

4 Dec 2024 ~~ By Ronny Reyes

The man wanted for fatally shooting UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in Midtown Wednesday morning was spotted inside a nearby Starbucks before killing his target, police said.
The NYPD released a new photo of the hooded suspect standing in front of the counter at the Starbucks at W. 56th Street and 6th Avenue, just minutes away from the Hilton hotel where he gunned down Thompson, 50.
It was not immediately clear how long the gunman, who has yet to be identified, was at the Starbucks or if he purchased anything.
Officials said that after firing at Thompson multiple times, with bullets striking his back and right calf, the gunman quickly fled the scene on foot.
He was then spotted mounting an e-Citi Bike on Sixth Avenue and disappearing into Central Park, according to NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny.

Commentary:
Cue the FBI investigation with the NYPD.
After several months the FBI investigation will undoubtedly conclude that the gunman Identit will remain unknown like pipe bomber in D.C. and the shooter of Seth Rich.
In either case the perpetrators have never been caught, thanks to the great investigative powers of the FBI...
This was a professional hit and it has to do with the United Health Care 80 Billion dollar business being investigated by the DoJ.
Thompson in May was sued for alleged fraud and illegal insider trading. The Hollywood Firefighters’ Pension Fund filed a lawsuit against UnitedHealth Group, CEO Andrew Witty, Executive Chairman Stephen Hemsley and Thompson, alleging the executives schemed to inflate the company’s stock by failing to disclose a US Justice Department antitrust investigation into the company.

/—-/ Thanks to democRATs fake mask mandate, wearing one in public no longer raises suspicion. Thanks you morons.

Brings back memories of documentary movie back several year ago, titled Damaged Care about Humana denial or lack of pre authorizations of a several claims or pre auths denied and people died.

More than likely someone's spouse, kid or parents were denied care and died in this case.

Curiously, the messages bear similarity to the title of a 2010 book on 'why insurance companies don't pay claims and what you can do about it', called 'Delay, Deny, Defend'.

Critics allege the tactic is used by insurance companies to 'ensure your claim is either never paid or paid at a rate far below what you deserve

The police claim he left behind a phone and candy wrappers. If true it wasn't a pro. A lone person and potential serial killer. He will kill again. If not a person than pets or farm animals to get that high of killing again.

Or a guy whose life was ruined by an insurance company and was taking revenge.

It appears the rounds he left behind included the words "Delay, Deny, Defend", which was also the title of a book exposing the insurance industry. That tells me that this guy is someone whose life was effected by UHC's greedy policies.

This was a form of terrorism.

The killing was intended to be a lesson to health insurance executives that they cannot treat their insureds badly with no consequences. This was not one crazy bastard. He was operating on orders from a secret group of pissed off insurance clients.

Not everything is a conspiracy.

It's probably just one guy who was pissed off that UHC let a relative die by not paying claims.

I hope you have recovered from the cancer.

ACA was horrible for me from the get-go. I needed PT 3x a week for a condition I developed, along with specialist care, and the “insurance” was a joke. First, they didn’t have a specialist for that condition in-network, so I had to go out-of-network and pay out-pocket.

Then, to add insult to injury, the PT with insurance was $130 a session. I overheard another patient telling the front desk they had no insurance, and they were told it was $99. I then said “we’ll, forget my insurance - I’ll pay out of pocket” and was told that I ADMITTED I have Obamacare insurance and would have to go through it!

Figure that out: I was paying $800 a month in premiums, had to pay the specialist out-of-pocket, and ALSO had to pay more for PT than if I had no insurance at all!

In the meantime, there were lower-income people in the PT office paying nothing. And I had to limit myself to 2x a week because o couldn’t afford the level of care given to the poor people!

Obamacare was a mess.

No, health care is a mess. Obamacare was just an attempt to fix it.

We should have had a Medicare buy in for people over 55 and a Public Option. We didn't get those.

Why? Because Joe Lieberman (D-Zionist Entity) blocked them.

Just watch: the liberals will rush in to make excuses for a murderer.

In the meantime, a white Good Samaritan who stepped in to save people from a deranged, black criminal threatening to kill someone might be sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Two tiers of justice: if someone murders a rich white guy, excuses galore. If a white Marine accidentally kills a violent black threatening to kill innocent people, he gets tried and possibly imprisoned.

If this guy is caught, he's not going to get off. While I'm sympathetic to his plight (assuming it is what we all suspect it is), he did the murder and should go to jail.

Meanwhile the asshole who choked a smaller, weaker man to death probably SHOULD go to jail for a while.

Yup. Liberals are all in favor of policies “that care for poor people” until they themselves have to pay a price for them.

Except what we do now is far more expensive than if we had single payer. The US spends 17% of it's GDP on health care, and we get the worst results in the industrialized world. (life expectancy, infant mortality) Meanwhile countries with universal health care or single payer spend 8-11% of GDP on health care.

I had an acquaintance that experienced the cliff. He was all in favor of Obamacare until he realized that even with his rather modest income, he was going to have to pick up the slack for those that made just a litltle less than he did.

ACA gives us a little preview of what a single-payer, government run healthcare would be. The “rich” folks, the ones that evidently never “pay their fair share” , would be subsidizing everybody else.

I think the ACA has a lot of faults, because instead of going for a public option, Obama instead tried to adopt RomneyCare on a national scale to try to get one Republican to vote for what they claimed they wanted for years. (i.e. a private sector, market-driven solution to the uninsured.)

Last year I got a rather nasty shock. I have insurance through my work. My wife was on an ACA plan until we got married getting a subsidy. (She doesn't make a lot of money). After we got married, our calculation was for our combined income and she no longer qualified for that subsidy, so I had to pay it back.

When National health Insurance becomes reality, medicine will be portioned out eventually. People will sue for any reason if they are on a list for operations. The costs will rise to the stratosphere and it his high today. Whole wings of hospitals are earmarked for billing as it is. Something seen as good as usual will be abused.
