New photos show UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson’s killer in Starbucks before shooting

Just watch: the liberals will rush in to make excuses for a murderer.

In the meantime, a white Good Samaritan who stepped in to save people from a deranged, black criminal threatening to kill someone might be sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Two tiers of justice: if someone murders a rich white guy, excuses galore. If a white Marine accidentally kills a violent black threatening to kill innocent people, he gets tried and possibly imprisoned.

aca was just a start I think in the right direction...I am hoping for excellent insurance reforms across the board not just health but all of them..I have hope but I am afraid it will go into the opposite direction as medicaid is dropped...

Medicaid won’t be dropped, but we need to stop the abuse. I know a family all living together - three adults and four kids - and they are all on Medicaid. Not a single one of the adults has a job.
thanks so far my cancer has not returned...I had test last month.
I am glad to hear that.

your imagination?

Who the fuck was it that told you the shooter wrote "Deny", "Defend", and "Depose" on the cartridge casings?

You didn't know that this morning when you logged in here. I told you that and you questioned the source, after which I provided a more well-known source.

So don't give me that bullshit, ok? Now you are dismissed.

P.S. when you say “reforms,” you mean get the government to subsidize more health care? Where is the money going to come from?

I hope you have recovered from the cancer.

ACA was horrible for me from the get-go. I needed PT 3x a week for a condition I developed, along with specialist care, and the “insurance” was a joke. First, they didn’t have a specialist for that condition in-network, so I had to go out-of-network and pay out-pocket.

Then, to add insult to injury, the PT with insurance was $130 a session. I overheard another patient telling the front desk they had no insurance, and they were told it was $99. I then said “we’ll, forget my insurance - I’ll pay out of pocket” and was told that I ADMITTED I have Obamacare insurance and would have to go through it!

Figure that out: I was paying $800 a month in premiums, had to pay the specialist out-of-pocket, and ALSO had to pay more for PT than if I had no insurance at all!

In the meantime, there were lower-income people in the PT office paying nothing. And I had to limit myself to 2x a week because o couldn’t afford the level of care given to the poor people!

Obamacare was a mess.

I too priced ACA many years ago. Premiums are income based. In other words, the more you make the more you pay, to supplement those getting it for free or very minimal premiums. For me, it was absurdly cost prohibitive.

I heard his insurance claim was already denied. ;)

Thank you for choosing United Healthcare for your healthcare needs. After a careful review of the claim submitted for emergency services on December 4, 2024, we regret to inform you that your request for coverage has been denied.

Our denial is based on the following findings:

1. Lack of Prior Authorization:

Our records indicate that you failed to obtain prior authorization before seeking care for the gunshot wound to your chest. While we acknowledge the emergent nature of the situation, our policy requires that all non-preventative services, including “unexpected chest injuries,” be pre-approved through our 24/7 Prior Authorization Hotline. Unfortunately, our hotline received no such call during your ambulance transport or at any point before your admission to the emergency room.

2. Failure to Prove Medical Necessity:

The submitted documentation does not sufficiently demonstrate that treatment for a penetrating chest wound meets the definition of “medically necessary.” Our guidelines specify that life-threatening conditions must be substantiated with a second opinion from a network provider, preferably before care is rendered.

3. Alternative Options Not Explored:

Based on our retrospective analysis, alternative, more cost-effective treatment options—such as a virtual telehealth consult or at-home first aid—were not attempted prior to your emergency room visit. We understand that you were actively “bleeding out,” but this does not exempt you from exploring lower-cost care pathways.

4. Out-of-Network Care:

The emergency room where you received treatment is not within our network. While City General is geographically closer to the location of your shooting, our network partner, DiscountCare Clinic, is only 25 miles away and equipped with staplers and gauze for such injuries.

Next Steps:

You may file an appeal within 30 days if you believe this decision is incorrect. Appeals must include:

  • A notarized letter from the attending physician, explaining why you thought you were entitled to not bleed to death while waiting for approval.
  • Evidence that your injuries were, in fact, serious enough to merit immediate attention, such as photos, videos, or live reenactments.

We encourage you to familiarize yourself with your plan benefits and utilize in-network providers for future incidents. Please do not hesitate to reach out to our customer support team if you have questions about this decision.

Sincerely and in good health,
United Healthcare

P.S. Remember: Preventative care is the best care! If you’d like, we can help you schedule your annual physical or connect you to a mindfulness seminar to prevent future traumatic injuries.

And there was a steep cliff, too. When I was on it, you got subsidizes up to $47,000 in income. If you made $48,000 or more, you were on the hook for the ENTIRE inflated premium - in my case, $800 a month.

It wad basically a catastrophic care policy costing what a good health insurance policy did before Obamacare,

any question how many people died due to their claims being denied...how many people did this CEO kill by indifference....

That's not the job of a corporate CEO, most companies have public relations personnel that handles that. A CEO is just there to make sure the company doesn't go out of business and the stockholders don't get screwed.

I don't have an MBA and even I know that.

Watch out all you corrupt, evil CEOs.............The People have had enough and it's time to pay for YOUR CRIMES against humanity and the citizens of the USA.

I had an acquaintance that experienced the cliff. He was all in favor of Obamacare until he realized that even with his rather modest income, he was going to have to pick up the slack for those that made just a litltle less than he did.

ACA gives us a little preview of what a single-payer, government run healthcare would be. The “rich” folks, the ones that evidently never “pay their fair share” , would be subsidizing everybody else.

Yup. Liberals are all in favor of policies “that care for poor people” until they themselves have to pay a price for them.

So he was there to profit off the misery of others ..even you realize that

You don't accidentally kill someone when you have them in a chokehold.

You are a liar deluxe and that is the truth. I have been paying for healthcare for others since I was fifteen by paying taxes to the US government and state governments which is 49 years worth. It doesn't bother me one bit that I could help..

According to police sources, the three words “deny,” “depose,” and “defend” were carved into the live rounds and shell casings found outside the Hilton Hotel on Sixth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, where Thompson was gunned down Wednesday morning.

This isn't just your regular premeditated murder...the notes on the casings were created to send a greater message.

The "message" was delivered by a shooter that had no issues with killing a CEO under duress right before rush hour in NYC.
