The problem with that study, is the numbers are too small. they claim it was from 150 thousand participants, yet reported hospitalizations of:

There was also a 56 percent reduction in the hospitalization rate for ivermectin users (44 versus 99 hospitalizations).

150 thousand people, and fewer than 150 hospitalizations? That's 1 in 1,000 even coming down with COVID requiring medical intervention.

I don't know about you, but I'd say that peer reviewed study was reviewed by somebody who doesn't know medicine, because the numbers are nonsense.

One thing that these studies require are double blind subjects. where one group gets the medication, and the other a placebo, and then compare the difference.

This is because they found in a lot of studies, that the medication might have a 90% effectiveness, yet the placebo had a 10-20% effectiveness.

Part of this is because people change their behavior.

This is just like those gas mileage enhancers, like magnets on the fuel line, or the vortex fins on the air cleaner. They produced an average 10-20% increase in gas mileage, but the reason wasn't the invention, but that people spending money on an invention to save gas, also drive in a way that saves gas.

The problem is there are a lot of studies out there, done in a non-scientific way. The only accurate studies require double blind placebo studies with a significant number of participants.

The amazing thing about such studies is that they found that in stage 2 clinical trials of the COVID vaccines, that people injected with a neutral solution, reported adverse reactions at about 10% of the rate of the vaccine.

There are ways the mind can influence the bodies reactions, such as through hormones, that we don't understand.
