New Inflation Data Is Worse Than You Think

Wholesale prices rose 0.9% in July, much more than expected

As a few folks on the board pointed out this week the CPI number from the other day masked some underlying issues with inflation not reflected in the report. Economists have been saying increased inflation due to the tariffs will come. Perhaps this is another sign it is on our doorstep.
Grocery prices down.

Energy prices down.

Overall inflation flat.

More Trump winning for Americans, more losing for the Dimwinger Cult.

so you are for slave labor prices? You don't want americans working and us spending welfare money that is on everyone. You fkers can't see past your eyelids.
You don’t care about families struggling to make ends meet?

Just a few of the many comments you made. Search is simple. I type inflation and your comments predating the election. So does that make you a dirtbag?

When did I say I wanted the economy to do bad and I spun figures?

When Biden was in office, I wanted low unemployment, a low deficit and high GDP.

Your selected quotes do not prove I jerked off when the economy did poorly.

You probably need another shot.

They're like some women about this stuff. If it's not right there in their face, it doesn't exist.
No abstract thinking whatsoever.

not sure what that means. Explain it for me.
I just what to hear you explain why families who can’t make ends meet have to pay higher prices. Go ahead and lecture them on that “slave labor” thing.

I remember when xiden was president the price of dozen eggs was over 10 dollars a dozen. Never heard a fking peep from these lunatic assholes. The fact they stay inconsistent devalues their stance.

Ah, so it's explicitly rooting for the economy to do bad that makes somebody a scumbag. I didn't see them do that either.

You, just as they, are using bad economic news to prop up your preferred candidate. It implies WANTING the economy to do bad when the other person is in power. But I guess you have no problem getting implied meaning, unless it's you, then well... it's just you stating fact for no particular reason.

how did they do it when the price of eggs under xiden were over 10 dollars? See, they survived the 8% inflation under xiden, so the 2% under Trump is actually saving them.

Again, you need to reeducate yourself so you know that 2+2=4 and not 5 like you were programmed to believe.

Inflation reduction act?

😂

Pointing out the INFLATION REDUCTION ACT RAISED INFLATION is the same as HOPING THE NATION CRUMBLES BECAUSE BIDEN IS SENILE.

LOL

I’m sure the 23rd pissy pants thread on this will work.

It was arguably the #1 issue in the 2024 election. But then the media was pounding the table about it back then. In truth, Biden's policies did not have the impact on inflation, a post-COVID global phenomenon, that Dotard's are having and will have.
Strangely enough, the 2020 inflation trigger was completely different, although also eerily similar too - 2020 was the collapse of global supply chains coming out of COVID, now it's supply chains having to deal with significantly increased costs of doing business.

Those ol' supply chains are gonna get a COMPLEX.

Funny how priorities change. And I keep overestimating them -- I assumed they would think inflation was a negative.
Lower grocery prices are a good thing, Mac15+15

Did you not read the OP?

Inflation was 1.6% when your Vegetable Messiah took office and promptly fucked it up, moron.

The problem with that is that the Biden inflation has not come all the way down yet.
May not for another several months to a year.
