I've been watching the board long enough to know some of the posters, a few make their points with fact, most don't seem to, but I sense some of that might be pretty deep history.

I my self often "feel" for liberal causes, but typically vote Republican assuming I'm voting the best interest of my wallet.

I have a single material thing that I derive a lot of pleasure from.....this crazy car, a CTSV 6MT Wagon....when I drive that thing it's like teleportation with a huge helping of bliss.

and that is why americans no long accept or execute their duties as citizens....they vote their wallet not what is best for the country or themselves in the long run....just their wallet at election time...well how is that working out for you?

welcome

Hey CTSV, how good to have you join this very busy site which appeals to most demographics.

I voted for Romney in the last election, McCain prior....so it's not really working at all.

The wife cancels me out every time, but she doesn't do our taxes....maybe if she did?

If you've been watching this website "long enough", then you should already know I'm this websites' Father Theresa.

Now let me hear you say it.

"Say it!"

"Say it!"

"Say it!"

"Welcome to USMB!"

Just to be clear, I don't care whom you voted for, but I am delighted THAT you went and voted. That gets a big thumbs-up from me:

One of the most awesome things about our Republic based on indirect Democracy is the fact that people decide per ballot box and not per gun-muzzle what happens next and for for many 200 years, it has worked like a charm and resulted in peaceful-handovers-of-power.

I encourage you to jump out there and make a thread about pocketbook issues.

There are also some good social threads to go to in the Lounge, where you can get to meet people, especially people who are not of your political persuasion - it helps us all to get to see the human side of "the other guy".

Best to you,

Stat
