So it would appear that the high school diploma requirement kept 2500 people from joining. During that time the Navy was coming up short by about 20,000. Since Trump has taken office in January they have already recruited 40,600 their goal for the entire year while they never achieved their goal of recruits during the Bidumb term.

I spent over 20 years and not once did that factor in. It wasn't my job to rate the CIC. And the 41,000 is also dependent on the job market and right now, the job market is in terrible shape with national corporations shutting down complete factories to relocate to Canada and Mexico. People need to eat and the Military is one hell of a chow line.
