Get yourself the truck of the year, the Ford F-150. Get one with four doors of you need room. Don't buy anything from Government Motors or Chrysler.

That truck looks nice but it's a little higher priced than we wanted to go. And I don't know about driving something so big, it kinda intimidates me.

And even if that's true, then you're giving a 55yo man (or whatever you think) car advice. Is your life ruined?
MY life isn't ruined either way.. If a 55 (I thought "he" was 40?") year old needs car buying advice from an 18 or 19 year old who drives a self-titled "old Honda", what's that say about the 55 year old?

I don't think they make 4WD vehicles with that kind of mileage that are actually worth having, but you might find a 4WD at 35K that is worth a damn.
Now, think about the mini-van thing for a moment. Yer BF wants you to have kids, lots of them, that's why he suggested the mini-van.

The range was price, sorry for the confusion. I really don't want anything big, I think something smallish and sporty fits me better.
