Oh I love this story. Instant karma at it's finest!

A woman shot and killed a suspected carjacker in self-defense last month when he was trying to drive off in her car in a North Las Vegas neighborhood, police said this week, according to a report.
The victim and a friend had parked near another friend’s house as they waited to go inside for an early Thanksgiving dinner on Nov. 19 when a car parked in front of them, they told Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, according to FOX 5 Las Vegas.

Two or three men got out of the car and allegedly pulled the woman out of the driver’s seat and her friend out of the passenger's side. One of the suspects got in but couldn’t figure out how to drive it because it was a push-to-start.

When the victim realized the suspect had placed the gun in his lap to figure out the car, she grabbed it and ran, telling her friend to run, too.

Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but if that gun was his only weapon, could the lady then be labeled a person who shot an unarmed person and be charged with doing such activity?

God bless you and the lady always!!!

P.S. May she come out on top because we all know why she fired in the first place.

A good DA could indict the other shitheads with an accessory to murder charge.

And in fact, this cat was one of them, and check out the list of charges.

He was charged with kidnapping, conspiracy to commit robbery, attempted robbery with a deadly weapon, burglary with the use of a deadly weapon and attempted grand larceny of a vehicle.
He is being held on $50,000 bail.

There's another thread in which posters are expressing anger, and the idea that new immigrants will not assimilate.

But, look at the violent and criminal behavior of blacks, and the HUGE numbers of crimes they commit.

Put that together with their riots, arson, thievery, billions of dollars of damage, AND the open hatred they express toward white people and America, and it seems clear that it is black people who either cannot, or simply refuse to assimilate.

Most immigrants work hard, start small businesses, and struggle to create a better future for their families. So, which group is an asset to America, and which is a drag on our society.

Too bad the woman in the OP couldn't off all three of the worthless carjackers. That would have saved taxpayers from the expense of feeding and housing their useless asses when they're sent to prison..

To answer your question legally, and with the intent to provide you with the appropriate option ...

One may have a concern in regard to what charges could be pursued by an aggressive District Attorney intent on finding them culpable.
The key to avoiding such conditions all depends on one's ability to articulate exactly why they shot the assailant.

Where the conditions are questionable in some jurisdictions ...
She would still have the justification to shoot the man if she felt that she. or another innocent victim,
were still in jeopardy of life or serious bodily injury ... Even after disarming the man.

However ... The Police are not obligated to give her that answer ...
Nor stop her from saying something that might not match the appropriate answer.

That's been the issue that caused the riots we seen. People think that there is some sort of law that states you can only use deadly force against an armed attacker. No truth to that at all, but don't feel bad, a lot of people think there is.

The real truth is that yes, you can use deadly force against an unarmed attacker IF, you believe you (or others) were in jeopardy of serious bodily harm or death as Black Sand stated. But, if a crooked prosecutor pushes for charges, it may be up to you to prove you were indeed in that situation, which in this case, she clearly was. That's why there is no charges against her. She did nothing illegal.
