Netanyahu's Chicken Little act.........I really mean it this time

How can anyone argue with a diagram like that as evidence?
He is like a fortune teller, looking into the future and seeing the spectre of an Iranian atomic bomb

Oh, give it a rest. Iran has stated it will wipe Israel from the face of the earth. If he's a little paranoid it's with good reason. And who's to say when Iran will do what? Maybe they already have nukes and are just working on a method of deployment. We should have taken out Iran back in the 80's.

Israel has nukes....Iran doesn't

Who needs to be afraid?

You're disgusting.
No. He's right on this one.

And even Netanyahu, who had no business speaking before the Congress just 3 weeks before his election, praised the President for his support of Israel, also in things that for security reasons cannot be made public. Obama has gotten Iran to do something that no other president has achieved: to get Iran to dance to his tune, using carrot and stick methodology. That really must irk Righties, esp after so many fuckups during the Bush 43 years.

No business speaking before congress? Why?

Do you think that affairs of state simply cease when you are going through an election? The speech was DIRECTLY counter to the deal that we are working on right now with Iran. Should he ignore the progress to a deal that he is opposed to? That would be dumb.

Further, claiming that Iran is suddenly 'dancing to our tune' is false. We have managed very little over there and this agreement certainly does not look like much of a step in containing Iran's nuclear ambitions. We shall see after an agreement is reached AND weather or not Iran bothers to follow it but essentially claiming an Obama 'victory' for lack of a better word is asinine.

It's two weeks before the election, and 3 weeks before Obama's third dead line get it straight . I'm not sure how anyone could watch that speech and be fuming mad at Netanyahu. They look so petty as did the token Jews giving the "rebuttal" to his speech. I just think it's so pathetic and had hoped you'd stay out of the defend Obama first, but you couldn't, you just couldn't do it. You had to defend Obama over the State of Israel
I am not defending Obama. I am stating fact. Smart people see this. Knuckledraggers like you do not. Smart people know that the best way to not have a war is to not start one. Even the IDF does not agree with Bibi on this one. Using your perverted knuckledragging sorry assed form of "logic", this can only mean that you are a Netanyahu fluffer but you hate Israel. Don't ever question my American patriotism or my love of Eretz Israel ever again, you putrid piece of RWNJ cowshit. Grow some real balls, get a real life and finally get it through your thick neanderthal tea-party crayola crayon head that opposing opinion does not mean lack of patriotism. Your uninformed remarks are a disgrace to Jewry across the planet. So, go fuck yourself, Putz.

Now to the OP itself: I saw the speech this morning and will make my own thread about it later.

But to be sure, my patience with the small minority of Rightie Jews who show nothing but disdain and even hatred for other less conservative Jews has now run out. Thank Ad-shem that the vast majority of Jews are not like Jroc or the fake Rabbit.

Majority of Israelis don't agree with you idiots. You leftist ass humanist Jews are pathetic, with your leftest ideology crap. Obama is in the process of legitimizing a terrorist, rogue, regime that even most democrats say is bad deal...You leftist only care about your ideology. Take your fake ass "Tikkun Olam" and shove it boy.

Shrink the entire US down to the size of NJ, and place a majority of your population in an area the size of New York City and then think how concerned you would be about an enemy having nukes.
Or put up with neighbors who kidnap and kill your people while lobbing small missiles at you and then imagine a BIG ONE coming at you. And that government has threatened to do so for many years.

Americans suffer under the "two oceans of protections" idea. The last time we had a hostile border that wasn't american vs. american was in the early 1800's (I really don't count the Poncho Villa raids, but some people do). We don't understand the concept of having bad guys just on the other side of a river or an imaginary line.
Yes, indeed, I think that what you just wrote has some validity and is also important to note. But Iran also does not border on Eretz Yisrael. That being said, one of its proxies does.

The key point is that even the craziest of the crazies in Iran already know that the launching of just one nuclear missile at any time in the future would guarantee the complete annihilation of Iran, that Teheran and Ispahan would be turned into glass that very same day, and with nuclear armaments that make Hiroshima and Nagasaki look like child's play. The Iranians know this. The specter of MAND keeps them from being stupid.

So why are they if they are so cognizant of the "glassy" future do they want nuclear fuel?
More importantly why doesn't this administration FORCE Iran to use solar instead of nuclear?
Because nuclear power for civil use is not the same as nuclear weaponry. Heavy Water 101, dude. Germany has nuclear reactors but no nuclear weapons. Ditto Italy. Ditto the baltic states. Ditto Japan.

Israel has nukes....Iran doesn't

Yes, we actually still have a few liberal fanatics who believe that since Iran hasn't actually nuked anybody yet, they won't. And so we shouldn't worry about them getting the Bomb. Never mind that they have fomented and financed countless acts of terror that resulted in the deaths of thousands; and have announced numerous times that they want to wipe Israel off the map.

In a related announcement, these same liberal fanatics announced to day that a child who has set numerous brush fires over the last few years, and who boasts of wanting to make a really big bang, should nonetheless be trusted with matches in the powder magazine of a giant battleship. On grounds that since he hasn't actually blown up any battleships yet, he won't. And so we shouldn't worry about that particular child having matches in a powder magazine.

Can anybody possibly be as completely blind and obtuse as little rightwinger?

Some people don't seem to mind a nuclear arms race in the middle east:cuckoo:

The irony here is seeing a right-wing religious cult in the USA and a different right-wing religious cult in Israel screaming how we need to declare holy war on yet another right-wing religious cult in Iran.

Hardliner religious cultists are irrational and violent no matter where they are, and they need to be marginalized. We're working on that in the USA, while the Israeli moderates and Iranian moderates are working on their end of it. It's the moral duty of rational people to oppose these religious cultists wherever they show up.
The mullahs are moderates in your world:slap:

Nope. Just more lies.

I guess all the major media are in on it - and only you mindless sycophants at the Soros hate sites know the really real truth, huh BlindFool?

Bibi told the world 3 years ago that Iran could have a weapon in 1 year. So in 10 years they will be no closer than they were 3 years ago?

The MSM also rooted for the invasion and occupation of Iraq and parroted all the war-hawks propaganda too.

Try to keep up with what goes on genius:thup:

Because it is a very longstanding State Department policy to make sure to in no way interfere with the politics of another land shortly before that country holds elections, which means no high level visits either way during that time. It's that simple, and that's why PM Netanyahu had no business being their yesterday.

Would you mind sourcing that "policy" i.e. what basis are you making that assumption?
Further what is the official "shortly before" time frame? 2 weeks...6 weeks.. less then 8 weeks like what happened in Benghazi in 2012 when the political decision to blame a VIDEO for what was clearly known 3 hours after it happened it was a terrorist attack that if became public would
mean these bumper stickers would be a joke?

Obama s Top Election Aide Working To Defeat Netanyahu The Daily Caller

The Obama administration is using taxpayer dollars to fund a radical anti-Israel group that aims to drive Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from office in March parliamentary elections.

And the U.S.-based group receiving the U.S. government money, OneVoice International, in turn is working with V15, an “independent grassroots movement” in Israel, according to Ha’aretz. V15’s unofficial motto is said to be “anyone but Bibi,” a reference that includes the prime minister’s nickname.

OneVoice has reportedly hired Obama campaign aides such as Jeremy Bird of political consulting powerhouse 270 Strategies to take on Netanyahu’s Likud Party. Bird was national field director for Obama’s 2012 reelection campaign, but now he is apoplectic, frothing at the mouth as he spouts conspiracy theories over House Speaker John Boehner’s (R-Ohio) invitation to Netanyahu to address the U.S. Congress in coming weeks.

When it comes to Iran and its nuclear program, Netanyahu is simply not a credible source. On no less than five separate occasions since 1992, he has warned that Iran was imminently within reach of a nuclear bomb, warnings that he has used to argue for a preemptive American strike. Each time his projected window ran out, he simply moved the date forward a couple years. Like the Friedman Unit during the Iraq War, Netanyahu has claimed that Iran is between one and seven years away from a nuclear weapon — for the past 23 years running.

The sky isn t falling Why Benjamin Netanyahu has no credibility on the Iranian threat
