What this alarmist film fails to mention is that ICANN will continue to be based in Los Angeles and will be the sole authority on internet naming, not the UN or anyone else. The organization will still be subject to US law if anything nefarious occurs. This video purposely failed to name any specific mechanism whereby censorship may be imposed by anyone. Naming control is important but it is not in itself a lever to "censor the internet". Content can only be censored (maybe) if you own the mainframe servers and those for us and a major chunk of the world are right here.
