The founders did not envision a political judiciary at all, that is one reason they have lifetime appointments- so they can decide cases without fear of political consequences.Do you think s Supreme Court is meant to be stacked with ONE Party rule? Is that what our founders envisioned?
It was Biden that politicized the Supreme Court when he was Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Starting with Robert Bork, then Clarence Thomas, and right down the line.
It has always been democrats who view judicial appointments as political, because there is a belief that what they cannot achieve in the Congress, they can implement in the courts.
The Legislative Branch is the ONLY branch of Gov't that is supposed to be overtly political. The others are supposed to be above the fray. Sadly that is long gone, and will never return.
