Winning the Media Campaign | Project for Excellence in Journalism (PEJ)
Fox News is already up in arms about this.
But what comes first, the bad coverage or the moves/comments that generate the coverage?
The list of McCain's gaffes is long, really, really, long. Palin hasn't helped that. Then there's the fact that his party has overseen potentially the most disastrous period in American history. There's his policies that don't seem to be jiving with voters.
And all of this ends up as things that aren't good and generating negative coverage.
Then there's the whole fact that the McCain campaign/his supporters may well be the most negative in history: "Hussein", he's an arab-- no he's a good family man, 'real americans', socialism etc.
Pretty crazy for anyone to equate the negative coverage to 'media bias', but then without the media bias talking point, fox and it's stooges wouldn't have much to talk about.
