Interesting that you think there is a direct correlation between sex and pregnancy. Some couples try for years and are unsuccessful at getting pregnant, while others are extraordinarily fertile. Plus, as you know, nothing is 100%, so unless you suggest that marriages switch to celibacy to avoid additional children?

Obviously we aren't talking about people who can't have children. Duh.

But, there are many ways to prevent pregnancy, from pills and patches to tying and snipping tubes and as you mentioned even celibacy.

And yes, some are more reliable than others, I guess it just depends on your commitment to not having children.
