Sure, I see no reason to dispute the polls (unlike the orange rubes, who are comically transparent). I think the major polls are generally going to be good barometers, even if they aren't perfect.

Further, I think this only partly about Biden. It's more on an indictment of the Democratic Party, writ large, which still hasn't faced up the fact that it's so unattractive to so many Americans.

It's almost out of Biden's hands at this point. Now it's on (1) the economy and inflation, and (2) whether the Dems keep choosing to serve up easy ammo for the GOP on the social issues. I've been talking about that for the full 9+ years I've been on this board.
