who will win the NBA Finals

I'm glad the West is going to game 7, hopefully the winner is tired.

Either way, the Knicks will be an underdog. The West finalist will get 4 games at home. I will be rooting for the Knicks as my adopted playoff team (I'm a Warriors fan)

The Knicks will also have a chance to cool off from their hot streak! I've seen a lot of winning when the challenger worked harder to get to the final game! I'm no fan of NY being from Chicago, but I wouldn't mind them winning just so commentators can stop talking about their years of futility! Even Phil Jackson couldn't help them til now! :dunno: :stir::rolleyes::D

Mitchell Robinson broke his pinkie, not even sure if he will be playing in the Finals, they need another big man to come in for OG and Towns, although he is a target for fouls by opposing teams because he can't shoot FT's, now he really can't shoot from the line if he will play.

I don't think anyone is worried about OKC's bigs but Wemby could potentially go wild against a diminished Knicks front court.

I think OKC advances but I'm rooting for the Spurs

I've missed both conference championships and it really does not look like I'm missing much in either conference, pretty much blowouts across the board, but I would love to see game 7.

I am rooting for the Spurs as I think NY will have an easier time facing them, even though Wemby would be having some big games.

on the surface, it doesn't make sense for the refs to favor the Thunder because OKC is one of the smallest market teams in the country, if not the absolute smallest. SGA fell down a couple times on purpose tonight and didn't get the call, which was nice to see.

The Knicks are one of the biggest market teams in the country... you'd think they'd get their fair share of calls in the finals.

But then again, the bets will be overwhelmingly for the Knicks as they have more fans, so the betting houses will earn more money if OKC wins the finals again (or the Spurs).

Therefore, if you're a conspiracy theorist, you have to weigh betting money against TV contract money

I was going to say While conspiracy theories are historically more commonly associated with the extreme right, comprehensive reviews of multi-decade survey data show that partisans on the left are just as likely to endorse conspiracy theories that derogate their political opponents.

But also, who can blame us/you for thinking it's rigged? It's been proven to be rigged. But is it the league like you are suggesting? I don't think so. Pat Donahue and Chancey Billups might have rigged games but did the league know about it? You're suggesting the refs are going to help either the Spurs or Knicks? You really believe that? I don't.

I'm glad to see SGA is not getting all the ticky tack fouls he gets during the regular season. This is the playoffs. It's a bit more physical in the playoffs. No flopping. Now SGA's numbers aren't so good if he's not getting 10 extra FREE throws.

The refs may fear for their safety if they don't give Floppus Maximus every call. It's going to be a tall order for the Spurs but I'm sticking with them.
Actually, they are playing the OKC team flopping in slow motion on the tv shows. It's over for them. Jwill on ESPN was showing all the times SGA would shoot the ball and miss and fall without being touched, or hardly being touched. Only finally the refs are on to them that they are floppers. So it no longer works. Plus the playoffs are always a bit more physical so you got to play through it. SGA has built his career at the free throw line. Enough of that. it's like Curry and Kaitlyn Clark. Will someone get up in their face? LOL.

OKC feels like Mike Tyson when someone finally punched back. They don't know what to do. Now which Spurs team is going to show up to game 7? We shall see. This is why we love the game. Who knows. Can't wait to see. Isn't this amazing and it's not even the finals yet? I hope the finals are this good. Either the Knicks win or it goes 7 and they lose. Anything else won't be exciting. Like if OKC wins in 6? Boring. Now we have to wait an entire year before possibly having a new champion? I hate dynasties. Unless they are Piston Dynasties. Like the Bad Boys or 2004 Pistons. We owned the league for quiet a few years with Ben, Chauncey, Rip, Prince and Sheed. Should have won back to back if not for Pat Donahue ref and Chauncey Billups rigging games.

Let's be honest. When is the last time we had a really good team that could play against the Bulls, Bad Boys, Celtics or Lakers?

Except for maybe the 2004 Pistons. We should have won back to back but the refs and Chauncey Billups were corrupt and rigged the finals and gave it to the Spurs in 2005.

Kobe and Shad?
Lebron and DWade and Bosh?

Golden State Warriors with Durant maybe. MAYBE. Nah

But since them, Milwaukee, Denver, OKC beat the Pacers last year in the finals. Boring. Lame. They suck. Haloburton gone they don't even make the playoffs this year???

Boston the year they won it were definitely the best team in the league that year but could they hang with the Bulls? They beat the Dallas Mavericks in the finals. Who was even on that team? No one remembers. You have to go look it up.

SA has a really young team, which worries me. OKC has a lot of playoff experience, obviously. Castle and Harper are barely out of High School, can't be turning the ball over 20 times

Would be a good time for DeAaron Fox to do something, he's been so ordinary in this series.

The league sucks.

You said it. This was a great game. Entertaining game. Beautiful basketball.

Key to the game, only 12 turnovers for SA.
Those young Spurs are fearless! I think SGA was taking on so much early that he was running on fumes at the end. What the heck was up with Holmgren? He barely touched the ball and when he did he fumbled it. That really hurt OKC.

I'm predicting a Knicks championship. Spurs will have trouble at MSG. Their time is coming sooon, though.

why would the Spurs have trouble at MSG? I there a mold issue?

But I hope you're right. I will be rooting for the Knicks. Not seeing a lot of good matchups against Wemby tho. Maybe KAT?
