who will win the NBA Finals

Steph Castle is 21 years old. The dumb fouls and turnovers are understandable.

The Knicks won't have home court advantage against either OKC or the Spurs. They will be well rested and are on the biggest roll by ANY playoff team in NBA history. Wow are they really this good?
I hope so. Reggie Miller was predicting they are going to be the favorites to win it all because of how well they are playing both defense and offense. They are clicking on all cylinders.

Now the question is, was that just against weak Eastern teams or is NY really this good? We're going to find out. And boy do I hope so. I've always wanted to see a Knicks championship in my lifetime. I know one happened when I was 3 years old but that doesn't count.

Then next year I will root against them because you know how quickly NY fans will get cocky. They've had nothing to say for so long. Last time they even went to the finals was twice with Patrick Ewing. Lost to Hakeem and the Houston Rockets both times. The 2 years Jordan took a break and Ewing just couldn't get it done. Reminds me of this year. The Celtics sucked. Easy division to win. Go Knicks!

I don't follow the Knicks but they are on a tear like nobody's business. My favorite player is Bridges, he was great for the Suns but they traded him. Brunson amazes me, I have no idea how a 6 foot guard who can't jump can be so dominating.

Brunson is elusive. Can find the space he needs to get his shot off. I remember a year or two ago it was a one man show. Looks like they put a group of guys around him that do their role and they all play well together. I wouldn't put it past this Knicks team. I still would bet my money on OKC. Even the Spurs if they win the next 2 games. But maybe NY is the better overall team. OKC seems to be SGA, Caruso and everyone else is not really stepping up. I mean, they are, but is it them stepping up or the Spurs blowing it because they are a young team still who needs a year or two to learn and grow into a championship team. Seems that way but who knows which Spurs team will show up for games 6 AND 7. Might be two different teams at home and away. Maybe it's for the best. In a couple years we might be sick of seeing Wemby in the finals.

Maybe Gianni Atutokumbo will join the Pistons and maybe we draft one good shooter who can help Cade Cunningham. We need 2 more great players and the Piston's could win a SHIP too.

What I see is Brunson makes the space he needs because he is a bowling ball. He must be strong as an ox. Spurs are showing how young they are, WAY too many dumb turnovers. But I'm not ready to hand it to OKC yet. Wemby is still doesn;t know how dominating he can be. You see it when Caruso or some other little guy keeps him out of driving to the paint. It looks hilarious.

Wemby was out at the 3 point line too much. I know he can shoot 3's but he can't be Wemby out there. He can't rebound and block shots out there. Get in the paint.

The Sixers drafted Mikail bridges and then traded him several minutes later. They screwed up the process with flunky GM's after the original GM was fired after starting it. They drafted Fultz when they could have had Tatum. Kept Tobias Harris when they dumped Jimmy butler due to Simmons no liking him because Jimmy got on his case. They had a chance to win a championship.

He's believing his own press! Wemby just needs to play, avoid "taking the bait" when the Thunder get physical, & definitely move "down low" more! Makes no sense for someone that big to be hanging out in the parameter & I'm no basketball fan! :stir::(

well, the Knicks have to be feeling confident right now.

There's been a couple great games in the SA-OKC series and a couple blowouts. Looking forward to watching this game

Which poses the question, why is Wemby playing out in the perimeter so much? That hurt SA in Game 5 w/ me not even watching! His pts. were down & he missed a bunch of 3's! :stir::dunno::omg:

Spurs are 13 for 30 from beyond the 3 point line, Thunder are 6 of 24. I don't see that happening in Oklahoma in game 7

12 missed shots in a row for OKC.

I'm glad the West is going to game 7, hopefully the winner is tired.

Either way, the Knicks will be an underdog. The West finalist will get 4 games at home. I will be rooting for the Knicks as my adopted playoff team (I'm a Warriors fan)

I said Spurs all along and I still think they pull out a close one in game 7. I would put Carter Bryant on SGA and tell him "your ONLY JOB is stay in front of SGA. Don't go for the shot blocks and deny him the ball.' That kid is big and fast, he just gets in foul trouble too quick but he could be a key guy.

on the surface, it doesn't make sense for the refs to favor the Thunder because OKC is one of the smallest market teams in the country, if not the absolute smallest. SGA fell down a couple times on purpose tonight and didn't get the call, which was nice to see.

The Knicks are one of the biggest market teams in the country... you'd think they'd get their fair share of calls in the finals.

But then again, the bets will be overwhelmingly for the Knicks as they have more fans, so the betting houses will earn more money if OKC wins the finals again (or the Spurs).

Therefore, if you're a conspiracy theorist, you have to weigh betting money against TV contract money
