National Debt is 110% of GDP. Highest since WWII

Bath House Barry DOUBLED the national debt. Where was all the little democrat cry babies then?

Ahhhh poor baby can't handle a little debt.....but we heard nothing from him as Obama buried us in record breaking deficits for 8 fucking years...

And now it means nothing to people like you, who whined about it for 8 years. You are no different then the very thing you rail against every day.

Partisan sheep like you and your twins on the left are the biggest danger to our country.
The dem congress holds the purse...you do know that right?...

You are so transparent, you blame Obama for all 8 years of debt even though the Repubs has the purse then! You are a joke.

Not to mention that not a dime is spent without the presidents approval

The national debt currently sits at $22.5 trillion. By the end of 2008, when former President Barack Obama was first elected, the national debt sat at $10 trillion. In 2016, it was $19.6 trillion.

The U.S. GDP for the second quarter of this fiscal year was revised down to a 2 percent increase, down from 3.1 percent the previous quarter.

So, I guess the question for all the Trumpniks out there is, why is this rapid accumulation of debt a bad thing only when recovering from an economic catastrophe, but not when it is spent on frivolities like a Russian steel wall, and the confiscated ranch land to build it on?

US national debt is now 110 percent of GDP — largest debt-to-GDP ratio since WWII
They think rating "funny" lowers the debt.

Obama added $2,848,864,083 per day on average for his 8 years in office.

Trump has added $3,206,441,130 per day on average during his time in office.

He will get there faster than Obama did, and Trump managed to do it during the best economy in the last 10,000 years according to you people.

Yes we spend 1 trillion dollars on welfare and Medicaid, cut that spending thus putting that money saved to the debt and in 15 years no more debt, more people working and less liberals. Win win for the US of A.

Actually, the Federal gov't spends $418 Billion and $3.6 Billion on those, respectively. That's less than half.

It was that massive tax break for all his bunga-bunga buddies.

I never voted for Obama because of his domestic policies. Glad Trump didn't pull the wool over my eyes, given the debt he's running up in economic good times, with any slow down we're really screwed.

That's what the numbers say. But Trumpniks don't get numbers.

Most of the debt is owed to ourselves.

How often do you pay yourself back?

The debt was owed to ourselves during Obama, but that didn't stop the tea party from forming.

What were Obamas domestic policies?

Time to cut spending and slash all budgets.
Yes we spend 1 trillion dollars on welfare and Medicaid, cut that spending thus putting that money saved to the debt and in 15 years no more debt, more people working and less liberals. Win win for the US of A.

No. Cut the military budget in half. China has at least 3 time the number of people we do, and their military budget is half of ours.

Obama spent to inject money Into a near dead economy to stimulate it. If he had done what conservatives wanted, our economy would have died. So comparing the debt made by Obama to Trumps is dishonest. Trump did not have to cut taxes then increase spending like he did.

Seriously clueless fucking answer...

Obama was navigating the US economy out of recession and away from a depression which was caused by GOP deregulation policies... All while GOP stated number one policy was to sink him, not look after the country.

Trump inherited a boom economy and has now gone and borrowed over a Trillion a year to pay tax cuts for his buddies. This overheats the economy and also means that even more money has to be borrowed when they have a crash...

But you don't turn on a brain cell, this is important... No reasonable economist in the world would agree to borrowing at the level US is with the present economy.

Just ask yourself one QUESTION:
If the economy is going so well, why does US need to borrow over a Trillion Dollars a year?

He sure did stimulate his wealthy donors. The rest of us got screwed.
