A POTUS either signs their "check" or if he doesn't, the Government goes into shut-down which adds more expense when it is finally restarted after Budget adjustments and POTUS's sign off.

I recall showing this link often and when I get back will use the search function to find posts with it from past 6 months to year, showing how close it was to the $37 Trillion mark when Trump was elected. It wasn't years ahead of prediction as mis-information OP link says, only moths at most.

This is still the Biden economy based on massive debt government spending.
Tariffs are on track to bring in 1 trillion a year. The annual deficit is 1.6 trillion. Spending cuts also help to create a surplus. IN 2 years the deficit is paid off then the national debt can be brought down.. GDP will go up thanks to tax and regulation cuts and low cost reliable energy based on fossil fuels and nuclear power.
The GOP will be ion charge fir the next 12 years.
