Sending the helicopter to survey Mars and make it work from earth on 2022 will be a great technological advance.

Announcing astronauts to be sent to Mars on 2024, that is adding fantasy to the news.

With Mars' limited atmosphere and massive dust storms, I don't see it functioning long.

It is really a test bed. It is supposed to take three flights if it does at all. It won't get real far from the lander/rover from what I saw. This was talked about a long time ago.

We don't need to dump millions on a flyer that will only do three flights and not get far from the lander/rover.
