People escape justice a lot less than you might think. Too often, but still..

When they walked into the Ulta store the staff must have gone on Defcon 4 alert....and the hotline to the local LEO's. Perhaps that's why they were apprehended fairly quickly.

If they are guilty, lock 'em up. Make criminals pay. Pay as their atonement to society. Pay as an example of others who may be inclined to crime.
