California allows ballots that were incorrectly filled out to be cured a.k.a. "fixed" after the election if the voter can be tracked down. There is no timeline and there are no guidelines as to WHICH ballots are selected to be cured. This leaves the door open for partisan volunteers like Nancy Pelosi's daughter to go hunting for Democrat votes which is exactly what is happening in District 13 near San Fransisco.

Ballot curing should be banned, if the ballot isn't filled out correctly, it should not count. Period.

Another reason there needs to be a federal law saying you have 48 hours to get all your votes counted. After that, what you have counted is your total.

I bet all these blue states still counting would miraculously get them all counted in under 48 hours.
