All Democrats believe that the United States treasury is their money and it's their right to distribute money as they see fit.
That's an interesting take, after watching Trump and his Trumpsters brag about an economy that was supported by a massive increase in government spending and a NY Fed that poured a TRILLION into short term lending markets to keep a freezing system greased. Not to mention the current bailouts, which will reach
who knows how many trillions, including lots & lots o' pork for the GOP as well as for the Dems.
This place is a hoot. Dittos. MAGA. Deep State.
That's what

Yet Trump is the guy who just signed a TWO TRILLION dollar package...
We're all socialists now.
If you think that's socialism, then you don't understand what socialism is.
If you think it's not socialism, then you don't understand what socialism is. Trump just invoked legislation which allows him to direct industries to produce what the government tells them to produce. And he told a publically owned company who they could and could not sell their products to. It doesn't get more socialist than that.
We're in a disaster. Lincoln pushed some extreme actions during the Civil war that were needed for public safety. This is temporary. You people are so ignorant. Sad.
You're the ignorant one here. American conservatism has failed the USA utterly. This pandemic has exposed the cracks of inequality, vulnerability, and lack of good governance that form the very foundations of your government that could bring your whole house down. Lack of universal health care will keep this virus going throughout the nation, far longer than the rest of the world.
The USA didn't close its borders to the world, the rest of the world closed their borders to Americans. The virus may have started in China but the USA has embrace covid19 as its "come to Jesus moment". We have fools here refusing to self-isolate, and they're going to do whatever the **** they want. Good for you, but don't expect the rest of us to let your people into our countries unless and until you shut this thing down.
China contained the virus brutally, and they did so in a way that no free state would ever attempt. But Americans are uniquely brainwashed into thinking the government is out to get them. 40 years of brainwashing by right wing billionaire media and the Republican Party. Ron DeSantis didn't close the beaches because Trump didn't tell him to. The governor of Louisiana didn't cancel Mardi Gras because Trump didn't warn them. But more importantly (in Republican minds), these big participation events bring millions of dollars into the local economy and they didn't want to piss off business owners.
America's insistence on business first will ensure that Trump opens up the economy too soon. You can see the focus shifting now, even before you get past the New York peak. Trump has all of the patience of a toddler who can see candy and wants it. He's itching to go on TV, to declare victory, and issue the back to work order. He gets excited just talking about the day this is over.
Well good luck with that.
Thank you for that demonstration of what the world looks like to brainwashed leftist drones, parroting the talking points.
Thank YOU for demonstrating that you have no response whatsoever, yet again. I'm not parroting talking points. I pointing out to you what the rest of the world is seeing. Incompetence, corruption and partisan politics are having a deadly effect on the national response to this pandemic.
For three months, the rest of the world prepared while Trump played at being President, attacking HIS enemies,, at home and abroad, and ignoring the danger to the American people. He attacked Iran. He killed terrorists. He celebrated his record economy, and despite warnings from his advisors, the United Nations, and the Chinese government, he did NOTHING. Now, thousands of Americans are dying.
Those of us who live in nations who prepared, who tested, tested, tested, and who slowed our rates of infections and deaths, are appalled. Considering how quickly some of the governors, and more importantly, American corporations and people are stepping up and but many people who die who didn't need to die, because your President continues to play politics, and not put the American people first.
Every single thing in your windy diatribe was a talking point, and the fact that you're too much of a leftist zombie to know that does not create in me any obligation to take it, or you, seriously.
Let's take your new little marching order to gabble about "Everyone else was prepared and Trump was wasting time doing other stuff." That sort of historical revisionism works for dimwits like you, who have memories shorter than the life of a mayfly and all the thinking capacity of a bowl of soggy rice pudding, but don't expect that anyone else is going to accept it as settled fact just because you confidently assert it.
January 14: World Health Organization (WHO) says, “Preliminary investigations conducted by the Chinese authorities have found no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission of the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) identified in Wuhan, China.”
January 17: Homeland Security and the CDC announce that Americans returning from travel-restricted countries are being routed to specific airports for screening and isolation, if necessary. The CDC also said, “Based on current information, the risk from 2019-nCoV to the American public is currently deemed to be low.”
January 20: Japan, South Korea, and Thailand reported their first cases of novel coronavirus.
January 21: The
first case of coronavirus in the United States is reported, of a man who had traveled from Wuhan, China.
January 22: Trump makes the statement, “We have it totally under control, it is one person, coming in from China…” Biden and other leftists love to try to make hay with this now, but it was obviously factually correct
at that time, and according to the information we had
at that time.
January 24: The CDC confirmed the second U.S. case of coronavirus, adding again that “based on what we know right now, the immediate risk to America remains low.”
January 28: WHO issues a statement praising China for its "speed and openness" in dealing with the coronavirus. That same day, Trump expanded the screenings at airports and instituted mandatory quarantines.
January 30: WHO declares a global health emergency. The CDC publicly confirms person-to-person transmission of the virus. Trump creates the White House Coronavirus Task Force.
January 31: Trump declares a US public health emergency and issues the travel ban between the US and China. That same day, the Senate voted on further documents in the impeachment trial, and Biden made this statement about the travel ban while in Iowa: “This is no time for Donald Trump’s record of hysteria and xenophobia.”
February 4: Trump instructs the FDA to step up diagnostic testing procedures.
February 5: The CDC issues this statement: “While we continue to believe the immediate risk of 2019nCoV exposure to the general public is low, CDC is undertaking measures to help keep that risk low.”
February 18: The CDC again assures everyone that the risk to Americans is low.
February 20: Trump raises travel warnings for Japan and South Korea to the highest level.
February 26: The first suspected case of local transmission in the US was announced by the CDC. Trump appoints Pence to head the task force.
February 27: Pence appoints Dr. Deborah Birx to serve as the White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator.
February 29: The first US death is recorded. Trump halts travel with Iran.
March 11: WHO declares a global pandemic.
March 12: Trump imposes travel restrictions on Europe. Biden criticizes the move.
March 13: Trump declares a national emergency.
So now you tell me where your little screed of talking points fits the timeline? What, in your armchair "expertise", should he have done differently, given the information at the time and the medical advice at the time? Where was he "playing at being President", by which phrase I must assume you mean "promoting policies that I have VERY CLEARLY stated that I don't like"?
