Well, well, now we are seeing just how dishonest folks like Nadler are. Bribery like this where there are DIRECT PAYMENTS paid by Nadler to a political rival are ILLEGAL.
Yet, his one time challenger asserts this is exactly what Nazi Nadler did. Bribe him to abandon his challenge to Nadler's seat.

An insurgent Democratic challenger claims he was offered a bribe to get out of his race against 24-year veteran Manhattan-Brooklyn Rep. Jerry Nadler — who immediately called the charge “defamatory.”
Oliver Rosenberg’s campaign says that days after he filed papers to run in the June 28 primary, he was contacted by a Nadler ally who offered to raise thousands of dollars in campaign funds if Rosenberg instead ran for a City Council seat.
Following the phone call, another supporter of Nadler (right) offered Rosenberg a seat on a prestigious, not-for-profit board if he withdrew his congressional bid, the challenger claimed.
“When investigations of lesser political crimes than trying to buy someone off the ballot are noted daily, it shows arrogance of power when friends of Jerrold Nadler would try to break the law themselves,” Rosenberg, 30, who describes himself as a “start-up and social entrepreneur,” said in a statement.
“This demands an investigation by the US attorney,” he added.
