Looks like Joe has finally exploded his Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator stored in his nuclear football taking our Current Events back in time through the chronosynclastic infindibulum back to before Trump ran for office!

Next up: for the DOJ to find everyone who ever heard of Trump and erase them all from existence on the planet so that there is no memory nor record of Trump ever living much less being POTUS.

Then Obumma/Biden can claim there are no elections, no parties and they are just King.

Merging threads on this software is sometimes a nightmare, and the system can be downright finicky. It doesn't help that everyone moans and bitches about duplicate topics.

For some reason, a HUGE number of threads were swept up in a massive merge. . . The result seems to have been sent to the Trash Can here;

Something Happened in Current Events

Some glitch has just created a mess with several threads. Not sure it can be fixed, I'll try and work on it. Have alerted others. Sorry for this.

It doesn't help that everyone moans and bitches about duplicate topics.

I occasionally report a duplicate topic because I've seen mods many times close or merge threads for that reason and we are not supposed to duplicate topics. I've found that if you do a good search first using 1-3 keywords, you can nearly always find a topic that already exists before duplicating it, as a result, I don't think I've ever duplicated one in any new thread I created.

Some people make no effort at all and sometimes I see new threads on topics that 1-2 others have already created so recent that they are still right in the New Topics column if everyone simply LOOKED first!

So I assumed that mods wanted us to report dup threads when we see them, but if that is causing a problem, I can easily stop reporting them.

No, I appreciate reports on dup threads, if they include links to both threads, if both threads were made within forty-eight hours of each other, and are in the same sub-forum.

Otherwise? There isn't a lot to be done. And yes, the best we can do, is to make sure not to make duplicate topics. TY!
