Mystery Giant Black Hole

In permafrost in an area with a lot of natural gas. More than likely a pingo thaw with an expulsion of natural gas as the cork, the pingo, left the bottle. Way to deep for the diameter to be a meteor strike.
 
Thought the thread was going to be about a celestial black hole.

Anyway, should have known some scientist would blame it on global warming.
 
Looks like a sinkhole to me. Smooth sides inside the cavity n all.

I bet I know what GIS will say "Here comes Satan!" :)
